Driver side daytime running light failure. The entire headlight assembly must be replaced. There is reduced visibility, which is a safety concern. The cost to repair is $1,800, which is outrageous for a single headlight assembly. LEDs should not fail at 80K mileage on a car that is less than six years old. This appears to be a known defect on Dodge Durangos.

My Prius suddenly malfunctions and goes berserk randomly. No other way to describe it. I've taken it into the dealer twice, and I'm not confident I'm driving a safe car. I've not done anything to the car and it has not been in an accident. It's unclear why it does it. When it has an episode it is not safe to drive, won't turn on and won't turn off. There is a common problem with 2020 Porsche Macans that I believe is a Porsche responsibility to fix. This is being reported by many 2020 Porsche Macan owners. The issue: Right Side Low Beam failure. To fix it, you need to replace the entire headlamp assembly (roughly 5k in US dollars). No warning of it failing by a sensor, etc. I believe this is an electrical issue and not a lamp issue. O
... thers have reported the same. Safety issue: Yes, not having proper lighting is a major safety issue. No warning of it failing. No sensor to tell me of issue. Has it been inspected: Yes, I am having a professional repair it - also consulted and reported it to the nearest porsche dealership. Was told by Porsche dealership that this is a known issue but no recall for it from Porsche. I keep my car highly maintained. Did research online - THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE FOR 2020 PORSCHE MACAN AND SHOULD BE RECALLED.Read more

Over the past few years, the headlights will intermittently go out when driving. The problem usually resolves itself the next time the vehicle is started. However, over the past couple weeks, both drivers side low beams have gone out and stayed out a well as one passenger side low beam. This happened while my wife was driving through a snow storm, so you can imagine how fun that drive was. I’ve
... contacted ford, as I can see this is a known problem with these LED headlights by reading forums and talking to other owners. Their answer is simple, pay us 5k to replace the headlight! No thanks, this is a known issue with their product and shouldn’t be placing the onus on the consumer. To make it worse, it’s obviously a HUGE safety risk to be driving without headlights!!! Since the latest incident, the lights have not come back on, forcing us to not use our main family vehicle at night. When the lights go out, it alerts and just says “check headlamp system”.Read more

Issue Type: Intermittent Electronic System Failure / Critical Safety Hazard Description of Incident: A severe safety-related incident occurred while driving at night on 12/29/2025, at approximately 5:48 pm. Under fully dark winter conditions in MA, while the vehicle was in motion with the headlights set to AUTO, the following events occurred: Total System Blackout: All interior and exterior lighti
... ng systems suddenly failed simultaneously, including the digital instrument cluster, infotainment display, and backlighting for all illuminated buttons and controls. The complete failure of exterior lighting and interior displays resulted in an immediate loss of forward visibility and access to critical driving information. Duration: The blackout lasted approximately two seconds before the system appeared to reboot. Recurrence: Approximately ten seconds after the first incident, the same total blackout occurred again under identical conditions. Vehicle Status: The engine remained running throughout the incidents; however, the simultaneous loss of lighting and instrumentation created an extremely high-risk driving situation. This incident constitutes a critical safety failure. The vehicle had experienced repeated electrical system failures prior to this incident, and was previously presented to the dealer on 8/7/2025 for diagnosis and repair. The dealer was unable to determine the cause of the malfunction and failed to take appropriate corrective action to address these issues: 07/13/2025: The Auto Stop function became inactive, and the vehicle failed to accelerate properly after stopping at traffic lights, creating a hazardous driving condition. 07/14/2025: The phone failed to connect to the vehicle’s infotainment system. 07/17/2025: While reversing in a parking lot, the Parking Collision Warning system failed to detect a moving vehicle behind the car. No audible or visual warning was issued, rendering the safety feature ineffective in preventing a potential collision.Read more

I purchased this 2014 Acura RDX in 2016, a Certified Pre-Owned with original 28,000 miles, from Price Acura in Dover, DE. VIN # [XXX] . The car is very well maintained; garage kept and consistently follows the regular maintenance schedule. The current mileage is 143,968. I have voiced my concern to the Price Acura dealership regarding the ongoing issue with the headlights. The combination of hea
... vy oxidation, internal condensation, and water seepage has gotten worse over time, causing very dim, unsafe low beams even after bulb/lens restoration. This issue is NOT normal wear and tear but is a defective seal or manufacturing issue. I’ve had to use my high beams to see while driving at night, but with oncoming traffic having to turn them off and on, not to impact other drivers, it is not safe. This issue has worsened, has negatively impacted my safety driving at night, most recent the driver side low beam headlight burnt out while I was traveling along back roads at night. After researching this issue, I learned this is a widespread problem and replacing the low beam headlight bulb is not the answer, and that the entire headlight assembly needs to be replaced, which I found is very costly. I am a loyal Acura customer with over 10 years of ownership. Given this widespread problem and my loyalty, I’m hoping for some manufacturer assistance, perhaps a covered repair, partial credit, or guidance getting help to cover this costly defect. Would you please advise of any cost effective service or potential solutions to resolve this known problem. As it stands, this issue has limited me to daylight driving only until this issue is properly fixed. I purchased this 2020 Jeep Wrangler from SunToyota car dealership in Holiday, FL on [XXX]. There have been several ongoing concerning safety issues with this vehicle and the car dealership over the past year since I purchased it. My vehicle has had immediate malfunctions and service visits upon purchase. On 12/31/24, the car went to the shop for broken visor (as is) as listed on service invoice-
... during this same visit I explained that turn signals lights were not functioning properly- was told that it was too much labor and they are aftermarket lights that the dealership cannot fix- dealership did not attempt to rectify the issue at this time. Broken visor/turn signal lights did not function properly upon purchase of the vehicle. In February, the car had what is known as the “death wobble” on major highways [XXX] and [XXX] in Florida, which was an extremely dangerous experience for all passengers in the vehicle. Invoice from 2/27/25 reflects suspension concern in regards to “death wobble” that was rectified, but again highly unsafe, and vehicle is beginning to shake again at high speeds as of December 2025. Invoice from 10/19/25 highlights the turn signal malfunction once again (it was never fixed from previous visit after purchase of vehicle and continued over several months). Car was taken back to dealer. Received call on 11/11 stating it was ready, to receive another call on my way there stating another issue with lights arisen. Received call on 11/12 stating it’s ready again, service advisor not present, and ALL lights flickering severely worse. Spoke to executive director, Dylan, who stated “[XXX] things happen” and walked away. Vehicle stayed at dealership. (Invoice from 11/12 highlights the turn signal issue again.). Vehicle was returned to me on 11/28/25, where lighting and turn signals appeared to work properly. As of December 2025, the turn signals have malfunctions again.
