Front Headlights are very dim, making it impossible to use without using the brights. Bulbs have been replaced to high intensity, and it still does not help. The speedclips which hold the Map Light in place are formed incorrectly. The interior teeth that retain the Map Light's molded retention tabs are bent too aggressively. Over time, in both our 2017 Rogue and 2019 Rogue, road vibrations caused the teeth to gnaw entirely through the plastic. This causes the Map Light to fall down and "deploy" suddenly into the driver's field of vision. When the map
... light falls, it not only startles the driver, it obstructs approximately 40-50% of the windshield. Nissan considers this a "cosmetic" issue and thus, it is not covered under ANY Nissan extended warranty. The cost to have it replaced with another part that will STILL fail in the exact same manner is over $1,200. This is a SERIOUS life safety issue since it is likely to fall at high speeds when the car naturally vibrates the most. It happened in 100% of the Rogues we have owned and always at highway speeds. It was repaired under the 3/36K factory warranty on our 2017, but now Nissan claims that it is a "cosmetic" and not covered under our "best you can get" Nissan extended warranty. Eventually, it will cause a serious accident and possibly death of both vehicle occupants and others on the road.Read more

The vehicles low beams fail to properly illuminate the road, and create a significant blind spot in your vision. We bought a brand new 2023 Buick Enclave and noticed on the first night drive that the vehicles lighting has a very large blind spot where it fails to properly illuminate the road. When switching too high beams the blind spot is diminished but not eliminated. We immediately took the
... vehicle back to the dealer where they adjusted the lights. However, all that they accomplished was to move the blind spot more central to the vehicle. When traveling up or down hills the lighting problem changes. When traveling up a hill the blind spot is moved closer to the vehicle creating a larger hazard. Traveling down hill the lighting blind spot is moved a bit further out. This is truly a very big safety concern especially when around pedestrians at night as it is nearly impossible to seem them until the very last second. The lighting problem and safety is worse when traveling at higher speeds as you have no time react when things suddenly appear from a blind spot in the vehicles head lights. I have attached several pictures. Please get in contact with me if you have further questions. All attached photos have been taken with an iPhone 13 and have no visual enhancements.Read more

This complaint with the NHTSA is to bring to your attention malfunctioning Sync 3 systems caused by an Over the Air (OTA) update Ford has pushed out to vehicles without permission from owners that has caused the Sync Systems to malfunction. Backup camera screen view while driving in a forward direction and reocurring pop-up screens which require driver interaction are two primary concerns. Loss
... of handsfree phone and navigation functionality are secondary concerns. I believe an investigation by the NHTSA is justified. Ford issued the software update that broke my Sync 3 system. Ford has stated that no software update is currently available to fix it. Replacing the APIM will fix the Sync 3 system. Vehicles under warranty are eligible for a no-charge APIM replacement. Vehicles out of warranty, like mine, are subject to +$1000 Ford repair charge. I believe Ford is responsible to repair all Sync 3 systems that they broke. These repairs should be made regardless of warranty. This likely warrants a recall by Ford as soon as possible. Here is a link where the F-150 Community has been discussing this issue since April 2023: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/sync-3-memory-issue-538739/index34/ I have logged the issue with Ford directly as well. They are not offering to help me resolve the issue because I am out of warranty.Read more

1.We purchased the vehicle (Hyundai Ioniq 5, 2022 Model) on MAY 20, 2022. 2.The vehicle was acceptable until it started to fail on us while we were on the road, and soon after the vehicle crawled home at limited power and came to a stop, it would no longer even turn on. 3.Then started our nightmare with Hyundai USA. We called the service department and they told us, based on our brief description
... of what happened, that our vehicle would be unsafe to drive a single more mile (which was impossible anyhow because it wouldn’t turn on), and to tow our vehicle to Hyundai dealership in Fayetteville, AR for repair on DECEMBER 27, 2022 at our own expense. 4. From what Hyundai, Fayetteville, AR's service engineer named Evan told us, they have replaced the fuse no less than four times and it kept blowing when they went to test the vehicle. After the basic fuse replacement, it caused the problem to become worse, and revealed an ICCU problem, that then revealed acceleration and charging problems, and the initial fuse problem still persisted. Codes kept popping up, and whenever they fixed the current issue, another one would present. Long story short, it turned out the vehicle was experiencing “mass power surges,” issues with the batteries, and displaying codes for reasons they were unsure of, causing the basic fuse replacement to “pop.” They even called in a Hyundai Engineer directly from corporate to try to fix the vehicle, but according to Evan, even he had no idea what was wrong with the vehicle and had left with some data.Read more
