The contact also discovered that both fuses in the under-hood fuse block had blown which caused the smoke. Upon replacing the fuses, the same failure recurred with smoke coming from the engine due to the replacement fuses being blown. The contact then spoke with the dealer where the recall was performed and was provided a diagnostic fee to inspect the vehicle.
