Incident date: Sep 17, 2025

While driving, noticed smoke coming from under the hood. Immediately pulled in a parking lot where the smoke turned to fire and burned the entire car by the time fire dept arrived. I was the only person in the car and was luckily able to exit the vehicle before the actual fire started. Incident reported to insurance company and they are investigating. There were no dash warning lights of any kind.

The other dY I have them service it again due to power train malfunction. And sent me an invoice of $1700 not including the $195 to diagnostic test for my car.

Both left and right exhaust manifolds have broken studs that have resulted in exhaust leaks from both manifolds. The broken studs can be seen via a visual inspection. Exhaust leaks can be heard at engine start and during higher load operations.
