Transmition- I started bringing it into the dealer around 80,000 miles because it was slipping and bucking (gears). Allegedly, they could provide warrenty coverage but could duplicate the problem. It is doing it more frequently and hesitates (drastically) which can cause an accident from behind. Yes, it was reproduced but as I stated, I was told, "They couldn't do 'anything about it'". It has
... been inspected multiple times at Kia prior to 100K warrenty At one point, my check engine light kept coming on, then it just went off. There seems to be some major faulty component with this make, model and year. I have read many very similiar complaints, online and there seems to be chronilogical issues/problems that arise at certain miles. Everything I have read, it the exact same situation I have been having which is just geting worse by the day. However, I was blatently informed by Kia, "They would not replace the transmition unless it went." I think that is totally ridiculous, you wait until it goes and can cause an accident before you will fix/replace the part. I also read and heard from multiple mechanics that it could be the "failed torque converter" which was never mentioned from the dealer. I have also had issues with the CV axle and oil plastic housing.Read more

Incident date: May 2, 2026
I was driving on in the left most lane on a highway at 70 miles speed with multiple trucks speeding from behind. My car suddenly lost acceleration and saw multiple warning messages on my car display. I barely managed to save my car from being hit by the trucks speeding from behind, applying emergency lights and steering my vehicle from the left lane to the right side of the highway. After towing
... the car to nearest dealer I understood that a stone went through the front grill of the car and it got the radiator converter leaking all the coolant and that created the loss of acceleration. This is a safety issue in the design of the car grill as it has unusually large holes leaving a critical part vulnerable and failure leads to loss of acceleration and a safety hazard. For similar other hybrid models in Lexus or Toyota Sienna the same grill is protected with smaller vents in the grill.Read more

Our 2022 Hyundai Sonata experienced multiple issues related to recalls affecting the vehicle’s reliability and operation. Due to these ongoing problems, the vehicle was taken to a dealership and has remained out of service and in dealership possession for approximately 90 days. The issues were confirmed by the dealership, and Hyundai Motor America was involved in the case. As a result, Hyundai
... approved a full buyback of the vehicle, indicating the problems could not be resolved in a reasonable timeframe. Despite this, the vehicle remains out of service and unusable. Hyundai has failed to complete the buyback process and has not provided a resolution within a reasonable time. There have been repeated delays and missed timelines. The extended period without a functioning vehicle creates reliability concerns and potential safety risks, as the vehicle could not be safely depended on for regular use prior to being removed from service. Last year, my 2025 Acura MDX was repaired under warranty for a known starter issue that is affecting all 2025+ MDX models. The issue is that the vehicle will stall or fail to start on random occasions leaving drivers stranded or stopped in traffic unable to move their vehicle. Honda and Acura are well aware of the fact that this is an issue, yet they continue to produce these vehicles with the sam
... e parts. This repair took several attempts and the dealership refused to even diagnose the issue for several months causing me to have to record each instance on my phone for proof. Once they eventually replaced the starter, the issue went away for approximately 10 months. Today, however, I was temporarily left stranded at a gas pump as my vehicle would not start. Honda and Acura dealerships are replacing these parts with the exact same part number, so the no-start condition comes back in about a year or less. It is incredibly dangerous to have a vehicle that you cannot move as anticipated, or if you’re in an area that you cannot leave or get away from potential danger because your vehicle won’t start. This is a less-than two-year-old vehicle that has now left me stranded on several occasions including in the middle of traffic on a motorway. I know for a fact that several other owners of the Acura MDX are having the exact same issue and ask that you please launch an investigation into this as Honda is well aware of it and still refuses to address the blatant safety risk it poses to its customers.Read more

Subject: Safety Complaint and Recall Concern – 2022 Nissan Rogue Engine Failure and Resulting Consumer Harm (VIN: [XXX] ) To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint to report a catastrophic engine failure involving my 2022 Nissan Rogue (VIN: [XXX] ), and to request review of potential safety and recall-related concerns. In November 2025, while I still owned and was actively financ
... ing this vehicle, it experienced a sudden and complete engine failure attributed to an engine control module (ECM) / engine-related issue. This failure rendered the vehicle inoperable without warning. At the time of failure, I was not informed by the dealership of any existing or potential recall, defect investigation, or manufacturer responsibility that may have applied to this condition. I was advised that the vehicle was no longer viable and was directed into purchasing a replacement vehicle. As a result, approximately $17,958.15 of remaining debt from the failed Rogue was rolled into the financing of a replacement vehicle, creating significant and ongoing financial harm. I have since become aware of recalls and defect investigations affecting Nissan Rogue vehicles in this model range, including conditions involving engine failure risks that may require inspection, repair, or replacement at no cost to the consumer. My concerns are as follows: 1. Whether the engine failure I experienced is related to known defects or recall conditions involving the Nissan Rogue. 2. Whether adequate notice, disclosure, or remedy information was available or communicated to consumers and dealerships at the time of my vehicle failure. 3. Whether this failure represents a broader safety issue that may affect other drivers. 4. Whether consumers may be incurring avoidable financial harm due to lack of awareness of recall-related remedies. My 2017 Hyundai Tucson is experiencing dangerous, sudden engine stalling, which are symptoms directly matching Service Campaign T1B. These critical safety issues surfaced following a total engine replacement in June 2025. Despite the vehicle being within the 12-month/12,000 mile workmanship warranty, the dealership is refusing to honor this coverage or offer goodwill assistance. My claim is base
... d on a documented pattern of physical and technical negligence: - Failure to Update Software: The dealership failed to perform the mandatory ECM/TCM software integration (Campaign T1B) during engine swap, which is required to prevent the exact stalling I am now experiencing. - Dismissal of Warning Lights (Code P0456): One day after the engine replacement was “completed,” I returned to the dealership because the Check Engine Light illuminated with Code P0456. This was dismissed by the service provider without a proper diagnostic resolution, despite being a direct indicator of improper vacuum line reconnection during the engine installation. - Mechanical Negligence (Coolant Leak): Post-engine swap, the vehicle developed a coolant leak, which was a direct result of improper reassembly. Additional proof of the lack of due diligence during the repair. The lack of follow-through, combined with the dismissal of a life-safety defect and poor physical workmanship, suggests a total failure in the case management process.
