I am a full-time power wheelchair user with Multiple Sclerosis and rely on this 2024 Chrysler Pacifica wheelchair-accessible van as my primary means of transportation. Since purchase, the vehicle has repeatedly experienced dangerous loss-of-power events while being driven. Immediately before the failure occurs, warning beeps sound and multiple warning lights illuminate, including Check Engine, ET
... C, Park Brake, FCW, ESC, and MIL. After these warnings appear, the vehicle loses acceleration and enters a reduced-power/limp-mode condition. Pressing the accelerator does not result in normal acceleration, creating a serious safety hazard in traffic. Most recently, on June 4, 2026, this occurred approximately six times during a single trip. During one incident, the warning lights illuminated, the vehicle lost acceleration, and we were forced to pull over with emergency flashers activated in a dangerous location. A police officer came upon us, stopped to assist, and advised that the location was extremely dangerous. Because I use a power wheelchair, I cannot safely transfer into a standard vehicle, taxi, rideshare, or other transportation. We explained to the officer that if the van were to be towed, I would effectively be stranded because there was no practical way to transport me in my power wheelchair. The condition later cleared and we were able to continue. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by Chrysler service departments and DriveMaster, the local mobility provider working with Freedom Motors. The problem has been reported repeatedly but is intermittent and has not been reproduced during inspections. Despite multiple repair attempts, the problem persists. The vehicle is available for inspection. These recurring loss-of-power events create a serious safety risk for myself, my family, and other motorists.Read more

My car was in shop for Smog inspection and failed. Mechanic told me that the most likely reason was that the engine has issues related to failing crankshaft position sensor which triggered the check engine light. He further explained that the engine with this condition will have abnormal oil consumption. My experience is that is exactly what I wondered. No smoke in the exhaust, no oil leaks under
... the hood and no oil on the parking space at home nor work. Mechanic recommended I take the car to Hyundai dealer in Folsom. The service department there diagnosed my car and did not find fault with crankshaft position sensor but did find that there is a problem with timing mechanisms. They also said that the engine has difficulty starting, which I never experienced in over 50,000 I have driven it, save the time of battery replacement about 2 years ago. I decided to take my car back to my mechanic where he diagnosed it with timing issues. The abnormal engine noise was accounted for as a link to timing. In the interim I drive a rental at the rate of about $65.00 /day. I m in a quandary; if my mechanic repairs the timing issues, which may not be under warranty, does that invalidate the existing engine warranty? If I can get the warranty to cover the ongoing issues, we can save ourselves wasting time and money. If safety concerns are a priority, which is not, then we cannot sacrifice safety in the interest of celerity. In the meantime, my family are in the crossroads and I cannot accept that.Read more

We have been documenting a oil leak on the timing chain cam shaft cover. When the motor heats up the engine seeps/leaks oil on the top of the side of engine. This has been documented for the past few months starting at 37,099 miles when we noticed it, date of first notice was on 4/29/2026. We have pic with time stamps and have taken it to dealership to inspect and have written many times of the is
... sue. We have also filed a consumer affairs and BBB autoline complaints. This is an issue safety issue bc oil can start a car fire, it can also cause a motor to malfunction. This is a safety concern. The dealer says their is no leak at all but they wipe off oil and it returns that an issue. We bought this pathfinder in Oct of 2025 and put on now around 42k miles and it is still an active issue.Read more

Component: Drivetrain, brake, and engine management systems repeatedly fail in a coordinated pattern, with multiple warning indicators activating simultaneously and sudden unintended deceleration occurring without warning. Vehicle available for inspection. Safety risk: Most recent failure occurred at highway speed with family including passengers in the vehicle. Without warning, the vehicle decele
... rated abruptly while multiple dashboard warnings activated at once. Sudden deceleration at highway speed creates immediate risk of rear-end collision from following traffic and loss of vehicle control. Prior dealer confirmation: Yes. Curry Chevrolet (Scarsdale, NY) has had the vehicle in service for the same defect category on multiple prior occasions, including stays of over a week on at least two visits. The dealer has not permanently resolved the issue — symptoms have now recurred at sixth time. An additional early service visit at the same dealer was not documented with a repair order; I retain contemporaneous text messages establishing that visit occurred. Other inspections: Inspected only by Curry Chevrolet to date. GM Customer Assistance engaged (Case #XXX). No police, insurance, or independent inspections. New case has been filed with GM, linked to the previous (Case #XXX).Next service visit will be at a different authorized Chevrolet dealer for an independent diagnostic. Warning indicators: Yes. In the most recent incident, multiple warning lamps and system alerts activated simultaneously at the moment of deceleration, with no advance warning. Prior incidents showed the same multi-system warning pattern, consistently without predictive indicators. Vehicle is a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado, VIN [XXX], delivered January 2026 with 2,209 miles on the odometer at delivery. I own a new 2026 KIA Sportage Hybrid VIN: [XXX] Odometer reading 1,200 miles On XXX while accelerating at freeway speeds the vehicle suddenly lost power and went into “reduced power mode” which slows the vehicle to a near stop. If the warning light remains on please contact your nearest service center or designated maintenance center as soon as possible.” I immediately took the vehicle to a KIA dealership and they said they replaced an oil pressure sensor that they believed caused the problem. I am submitting this complaint regarding serious safety concerns with my Volvo vehicle that may affect the safety of my family, especially young children. 1. The seat belt mechanism appears defective and does not secure the child as intended. Thi
... s presents a significant safety risk. In the event of sudden braking or an emergency stop, a child could be thrown forward due to the seat belt’s failure to restrain the occupant correctly. This defect creates a serious risk of injury and should be investigated immediately. 2. Recurring Check Engine Light Following Recall Repair / Hybrid Battery Concerns Following a recent Volvo recall repair and/or work related to the hybrid battery system, the vehicle began displaying a recurring check engine warning light. The issue was reported to Weaver Brothers Volvo in Raleigh, North Carolina. The dealership performed repairs or adjustments, and the warning light temporarily disappeared. However, the same issue has returned, raising concerns that the underlying problem was not properly diagnosed or corrected. Given the vehicle’s purchase price of approximately $75,000, I am concerned about the reliability and safety of the vehicle, particularly if the warning light is related to the hybrid battery system, emissions system, or another critical component. Headlight Issue: Headlights provide inadequate illumination during nighttime and rainy conditions, reducing visibility and creating a potential safety hazard. Coolant was found to be leaking in cylinder number 4. The Ford dealer told us the vehicle needed a new engine with a repair cost of $8,000.00. It is not available for inspection, since it was auctioned off by the Ford dealer. My wife and children were stopped at a stop sign and the engine started to misfire. She was trying to turn onto a busy highway and it lacked power with no acceleration
... initially. Once on the highway. the engine continued to run rough. On the dash, the "engine fault, service now" light appeared. A diagnostic test was performed at a Ford dealer and was confirmed to be coolant leaking into a cylinder. It was not inspected by anyone else. The engine was making a wierd noise after it was turned off a couple of days before and the coolant in the overflow tank was significantly elevated. After it stalled on my wife, the overflow coolant tank was constantly low and needed to be filled back up after each use. After driving and for 4-5 minutes after the engine was turned off, it sounded like water slooshing around in the engine. When it was taken in for diagnostic testing the "engine" light was flashing and then turned solid and then turned off.Read more

Not long after the ABS system lit up and my car said traction even though I was just pulling into my driveway. I quickly turned around and drove to my mechanic. I am reporting a significant safety concern regarding my 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB. I have a 2024 Hybrid Toyota Tundra Equipped with V35-A- FTS 3.4 L Twin- Turbo V6. This motor is the same engine as the non hybrid motors included in the recall. There was recently a defect information report sent out on May 20th 2026 from Toyota stating that there is an issue with the main #1 bearing and the newer motors are now being installed with upgraded new bearing indicating that all motors,
... hybrid or non hybrid prior to August of 2024 have this defect that could cause engine failure. The only reason this motor is not included in recall is Toyota saying that it not a safety issue because of the electrical motor is sufficient to get it off the road. I tow a boat and various trailers and feel like at highway speeds in traffic a failure of the main engine, with very limited assistance from electrical motor could cause a potential serious crash leading to serious injury or death. I am filing this to ask NHTSA to do the right thing and have Toyota to expand the recall and include the Hybrids as it will only be a matter of time before before something will happen.Read more

The vehicle has had breaking issues since I purchased it in September 23, 2023. On April 26, 2025 the car completely shut down while driving it for no apparent reason. Took it to the certified Cadillac dealer (see picture). Said, it was fixed. May 11, 2026 started doing it again while driving, turning, backing up or at a light. Breaks keep saying need to be serviced too. Had it towed in to C
... adillac dealer they can’t get it to repeat problem or get codes to find out problem. I got Cadillac involved to help. Case number 98248412. Had to pick car up today spoke again with service manager at Cadillac dealer. He said, car has major issues and it’s rearing its ugly head (car is defective). He can’t get the codes because whatever is going on with car it’s not talking to the computer. I’ve been on a major highway and the car just shuts down. I’ve asked Cadillac to repurchase the car because I am afraid of being in a major accident and killed because I never know when the car will shut down. Cadillac told, me to keep driving the car until it showed up again and they would not repurchase it. If I get rear ended on a 4 line highway by a semi truck because the car just shut down myself and family could be killed.Read more

I've been experiencing throttle lag on my 2022 Tundra in certain situations during rolling stops (I've also had it occur from a dead stop, though more frequent in rolling stops). Sometimes there is a significant delay in throttle response, and the other day while pulling out into traffic the delay was perhaps 2-3 seconds. This nearly created an accident as the engine had zero response and greatly

Vehicle: 2021 Subaru Legacy Base 2.5i Mileage:~65,000 miles My engine suddenly began making loud internal knocking/tapping noises with no warning lights, no overheating, and no prior symptoms. The vehicle immediately became unsafe to operate. I had it towed to a Subaru dealership, where technicians confirmed the noise was coming from inside the engine and recommended a full engine replacement. Th
... e failure happened without any warning indicators, misfires, overheating, or oil pressure warnings. All diagnostics (including compression and leakdown) were clean, and the vehicle has been properly maintained. Subaru of America acknowledged the internal failure but only offered $1,000 goodwill toward a multi‑thousand‑dollar engine replacement. This appears to be a premature internal engine failure on the FB25 engine, which may indicate a defect. A sudden internal engine failure at highway speeds could lead to loss of power, stalling, or inability to accelerate, creating a safety hazard for the driver and surrounding traffic. I am filing this complaint because this type of unexpected internal engine failure at relatively low mileage may represent a pattern and should be tracked for potential investigation.Read more

VEHICLE: 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE, Original owner since February 2023. NATURE OF DEFECT: Persistent and unresolved coolant loss from the engine cooling system, with evidence suggesting leaked coolant is contacting hot engine components and creating a potential fire hazard. CHRONOLOGY: Beginning in February 2026, the vehicle began displaying recurring "low coolant" warnings on the ins
... trument cluster. The vehicle has been presented to an authorized Jaguar Land Rover dealership three times for warranty diagnosis and repair of this complaint. On each of the three visits, the dealership replaced a single cooling system component (a hose or O-ring). After each repair, the low coolant warning returned within approximately two weeks. The most recent repair, completed on May 26 2026, involved replacement of an O-ring on a lower coolant hose that had been previously serviced under JLR safety recall N785. The vehicle was returned to me on Thursday, May 28 2026. On Tuesday afternoon, June 2 2026 (approximately five days after the most recent repair), I detected a distinct burning odor from the engine compartment while the vehicle was operating. On Wednesday morning, June 3 2026, I visually inspected the coolant expansion tank and confirmed the coolant level had again dropped below the minimum mark. SAFETY CONCERN: The combination of recurring coolant loss and a burning odor originating from the engine compartment is consistent with coolant contacting hot engine components — most likely the turbocharger, exhaust manifold, or associated heat shielding. This is the same failure mode that prompted JLR safety recall N785 (NHTSA Campaign 23V-221) on 2019-2022 Range Rover Sport PHEV vehicles, in which leaking coolant onto the turbocharger heat shield was identified by the manufacturer as creating an increased risk of fire. My 2023 Range Rover Sport HSE is not currently included within the scope of recall N785Read more
