Rear passenger window failed two different times, we have gotten it fixed. Now today the rear driver window will not go up or move.
Incident date: May 29, 2026
Component that failed: High-voltage main battery pack assembly and associated electrical architecture. The vehicle and the component are currently located at my home and are available for inspection upon request. Description of Incident & Safety Risk: While attempting to drive the car and when connected to the vehicle to a standard charging infrastructure, a catastrophic internal failure occurred
... within the high-voltage system (Diagnostic Trouble Code P1AA600). Upon attempting to plug the vehicle in, active electrical arcing and physical sparks emanated from the high-voltage architecture. This structural manufacturing component defect presents an immediate, severe, and active fire and safety hazard to the occupants, the vehicle, and any surrounding property. The vehicle is currently completely un-driveable and unsafe to connect to any power grid. Dealer Confirmation & Inspection: The vehicle was driven to a certified manufacturer dealership service center. A certified dealership technician formally inspected the vehicle, reproduced the fault, and explicitly documented the active electrical arcing and sparking coming from the high-voltage pack in the official service records. The vehicle history was also escalated to the manufacturer's executive consumer affairs team, who acknowledged the intake statement but refused to authorize a remedy or repair. Warning Symptoms: There were no long-term warning lamps or prior symptoms leading up to the structural breakdown. The high-voltage system failure occurred suddenly and catastrophically, immediately triggering a critical malfunction indicator on the dashboard cluster at the time of the failure.Read more

The vehicle has ghost braking issues and on top of all the screens go black periodically for no reason at all(they aren’t being touched).
Incident date: May 15, 2026
I had brought my Honda Accord into Honda of Muskogee to have the touchscreen looked at for ghost touching while the car was still under warranty. On the very first visit, the morning I brought it in the temperature was low and it was nice outside and they could not reproduce the issue. They also did not complete the oil change properly on my car, nor rotated the tires, they also mangled the nuts t
... hat hold the positive battery post down. This was on a brand new car when it happened. Fast forward to 2026, my manufacturer's warranty is expired. I have contacted Honda Corporate probably 3 times to see if they would honor the warranty on my factory unmodified radio that came with the car. I advised them I wanted any other dealership that is certified to do the work, besides Muskogee. That location has a vendetta against me now because I am reporting them for stealing people's money and not doing the work their customers paid for. Their customers are ASKING for work that they pretend they have no idea about. PROBLEM: The digitizer is failing due to bad parts/delamination of some sort, it causes frequent ghost touching which can disrupt important safety information on the screen such as navigation data on a fast highway. It also ghost touches and turns off the HVAC system so the microphone can hear you, in the summertime this is incredibly dangerous as you cannot bypass it to ensure you stay cool in a heat wave if the radio keeps doing this. I am afraid this distraction is either going to cause myself, or anyone else with a 2022 Honda Accord that - for whatever reason they have NOT issued a manufacturers' recall for defective digitizers. This radio has done this practically the entire time I have owned the car, I am so upset with it.Read more

Was traveling to head towards the beach and all of a sudden the whole dash starts glitching then goes out for about 10-25 seconds then cuts back on like the car is powering back on. This complaint is based on four separate safety recalls affecting my vehicle — Recalls 56C, 68C (NHTSA Campaign No. 25V-741), 21D (NHTSA Campaign No. 26V-363) and 78C (NHTSA Campaign No. 25V-766) — which collectively demonstrate a pattern of serious, unresolved manufacturing defects involving both the high-voltage battery system and the gasoline engine. Stellantis has materially and permanentl
... y diminished my vehicle's performance and value through undisclosed recall remedies, left my vehicle subject to dual fire risks with no complete remedy available as none of the recalls actually made any functional repairs but rather reduced the risk to Stellantis, and subjected my engine to a potential catastrophic sand contamination defect for which the recall did not actually repair along with additional wear and tear on the combustion engine beyond the original design specifications of the vehicle. Perhaps no single fact better illustrates the magnitude of what Stellantis has taken from me than this: post-68C, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe — purchased at a significant price premium over standard Wrangler models specifically for its hybrid efficiency — now achieves no better real-world fuel economy in charged or depleted mode than the base 3.6L V6 Wrangler that costs thousands of dollars less. The EPA-rated combined gas-only MPG figures for the 2024 Wrangler lineup are as follows: •3.6L V6 (automatic, four-door): EPA-rated 19 MPG combined (17 city / 23 highway); •3.6L V6 with eTorque (automatic, four-door): EPA-rated 19–20 MPG combined; •2.0L Turbo (four-door): EPA-rated 20–21 MPG combined; •4xe PHEV (charge-depleted, gas only): EPA-rated 20 MPG combined — now further reduced by the 68C software restriction. All of which came at an $8-12K premium due to the PHEV vs. a standard V6 engine.Read more

A continuation from my last post. I brought my car back to the dealer. The worker came out to inspect my car and he lifted the hood and he said I had a loose negative battery cable and that I had the wrong battery in my car. He then said they did the best they can do because it is the wrong battery. After he got off the phone all my lights on my dashboard lit up.My car seemed possessed. My steering locked up and brakes were not working.Scared and crying i called him back and was telling him what was happening to my car.He said once again it was due to battery. Crying I said I'm scared what do I do?He advised me to put my car in netural and try to pull off to the side.I explained to him that I was on the freeway in 5pm traffic my hazards, signals and brakes aren't working.I then asked him what do I do once I can stop the car.Do I bring it back to the dealership? He said the only thing they can do if i bring it back is to have me buy a new battery. At this point the car completely turned off.I was able to roll off the freeway then my car stopped completely violently as if someone slammed the the brakes. Now they want me to buy a new alternator and transmission.Car had no issue before taking it in.Read more

ABS Module failure causing multiple warning lights on my dashboard. My truck no longer has working ABS or cruise control because of it. The Around View Monitor (AVM) system failed. The rear backup camera image no longer functions properly due to a failed AVM control unit. The vehicle is a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum equipped with Nissan’s camera-based surround view and backup camera system. The vehicle has been diagnosed by an authorized Nissan dealership, and the failed component remains installed in the vehicle and is avai
... lable for inspection. The failure disabled the vehicle’s backup camera and related camera-based visibility systems. This significantly reduces rearward visibility while backing up and increases the risk of striking pedestrians, children, pets, vehicles, or objects that may not be visible through mirrors alone. Drivers have come to rely on the backup camera system as an important safety feature, and its sudden failure creates a safety hazard during parking and low-speed maneuvers. The problem was diagnosed and confirmed by an authorized Nissan dealership. The dealership determined that the Around View Monitor (AVM) control unit had failed and advised that the module requires replacement. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives. Nissan corporate has not yet physically inspected the vehicle to my knowledge. The backup camera system functioned normally until it suddenly stopped working. There were no warning lights, messages, prior malfunctions, collisions, or damage that would have indicated a problem. The failure occurred without warning. I purchased this 2023 Nissan Pathfinder only one month ago, and the AVM system suddenly failed after just a few weeks of ownership. The dealership diagnosed a failed AVM control unit and quoted approximately $3,400 ($2800 parts and $600 labor) for repair. A critical rear-visibility safety system should not fail unexpectedly in a vehicle this new. The repair cost is prohibitive, leaving us owners without an important safety feature. Nissan should investigate and assist affected owners.Read more

The vehicle is experiencing powertrain performance issues, including a persistent stutter, vehicle shuddering, and erratic RPM jumping while driving at 45-55 mph. These symptoms began immediately following the latest software flash in January 2026 and have progressively gotten worse. An Independent mechanic and a transmission specialist have inspected the vehicle and are unable to resolve the issu
... e because no diagnostic trouble codes are being generated. There is a safety and engineering concern that the continuous reprogramming of the PCM & BCM has altered the vehicle’s operations outside of its initial factory design parameters. The vehicle has suffered an immediate drop in performance and fuel economy. In June 2026, I received another notification about Recall 25S76, not being completed yet by Sam Leman Ford. After several attempts to reach someone, I called an authorized secondary Ford dealership, Heller in Bloomington, who pulled the VIN data and stated they could not verify if the 25S76 recall was properly completed by the original servicing dealer. It seems as if there is a tracking failure on the manufacturer's side. While she stated there were notes by a service tech for mobile repair, the fact that I got another notification about the same recall’s intermediate repair not being completed, that signified to her it may not have been. Heller Ford stated the only way to know, is to attempt a 4th PCM reprogramming. If the manufacturer rejects the warranty reimbursement, the cost of the diagnostic labor hours will be billed to me. Consumers should not be held financially responsible for verifying faulty manufacturer documentation, nor should software patches be used as a substitute for replacing a physically defective, fire-prone component. By allowing the manufacturer to alter the vehicle's electrical and powertrain architecture rather than mandating a hardware replacement, consumers are left driving vehicles with degraded performance and an active hazards.Read more

I am the owner of a 2018 Ram 3500 subject to Recall C4B (NHTSA Recall No. 24V-896) involving the Brake Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). The recall was announced on November 27, 2024. As of June 2026, NHTSA’s website still states that the recall is incomplete and that a remedy is not yet available for my vehicle. The defect causes active symptoms during operation. The vehicle continuously chimes w
... hile driving, similar to a seatbelt warning, and cruise control is disabled. These symptoms substantially interfere with normal operation, especially during long trips and towing. I have contacted authorized Ram dealerships and Ram Customer Care multiple times. Dealerships state that no remedy is available and refer me to Ram Customer Care. Ram Customer Care confirms that no remedy is available and provides no repair timeline or meaningful resolution. Most concerning, neither the dealerships nor Ram Customer Care will initiate a repair attempt because no repair procedure or parts exist. Owners are therefore unable to obtain repairs or even establish documented repair attempts despite the existence of an active safety recall. I was also advised that I could rent a vehicle at my own expense and potentially seek reimbursement if approved. Given that this recall has been open for more than 18 months with no available remedy or repair timeline, expecting owners to personally fund rental costs for an unknown period with only the possibility of reimbursement is unrealistic and inadequate. This open safety recall has negatively impacted the vehicle’s usability, resale value, and trade-in value while preventing owners from obtaining a repair. Stellantis acknowledges the safety defect, yet no practical remedy or alternative solution is available. I respectfully request that NHTSA review the continued lack of an available remedy, the extended delay in repairs, and the absence of a meaningful process for affected owners to obtain relief.Read more

First, loss of the rearview camera image eliminates rear visibility when backing — the exact risk FMVSS 111 is intended to prevent — raising the chance of a backover crash. Second, loss of all climate control in extreme heat endangers occupants in North Carolina summer temperatures, and a blank, unresponsive screen is a driver distraction. I am writing regarding a very serious and frightening safety incident involving my 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5. While driving through a busy intersection in California, the vehicle displayed the warning message: “Stop vehicle and check power supply.” Within approximately one minute of that warning appearing, the vehicle completely lost power and became inoperable in the middle of the intersection. Th
... e shutdown occurred without warning and created an extremely dangerous situation. The vehicle’s hazard lights would not function because the car appeared to be entirely without power. Traffic continued moving around me while I was stranded in the intersection, and I genuinely feared that another vehicle could collide with me. I ultimately called 911 because the situation was unsafe and I could not move the vehicle. Police responded and directed traffic until the vehicle could be towed. Hyundai dealership had the vehicle for 22 days and diagnosed it as a faulty ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit) which they replaced for no charge. This incident has caused me to lose confidence in the safety and reliability of this vehicle. A complete loss of propulsion in active traffic — especially accompanied by failure of the hazard system — is an unacceptable safety risk. I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle. Hyundai of America would not let me cancel the lease early due to safety concerns.Read more

While traveling at cruising speed (70 MPH) on Interstate 95 South, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic electrical and mechanical failure, resulting in an immediate engine stall. The vehicle lost all propulsion. Due to the sudden loss of power, the vehicle could not safely clear the active lanes of traffic, coasting to a stop near an exit ramp and dangerously blocking highway traffic.Upon attemptin
... g to restart the vehicle to move it out of harm's way, the vehicle emitted a rapid clicking noise and again stalled out. Because this vehicle utilizes an electronic shift-by-wire system, the total power failure permanently locked the transmission into "Park." The vehicle could not be shifted into "Neutral" or "Drive" to be pushed safely off the road. This total vehicle failure created an immediate, life-threatening hazard for the occupants and surrounding motorists on a high-speed interstate, requiring emergency police intervention to manage traffic until a flatbed tow truck arrived.Read more

While charging at a L3 station, charging was interrupted with a pop (which turned out to be ablown fuse). Two warning lights appeared on the dashboard (battery and vehicle with exclamation points) as well as message to "Check electrical vehicle system". Kia Connect told me to exit the vehicle and that it would need to be towed to the dealer. Dealer Service Office confirmed it was not safe to be in
... the vehicle nor to drive it. Car had only 2311 miles at the time! From the dealer invoice the KDS was inoperative at the time. Fault codes: P1A961C LDS Internal Power Supply out of Range and P1A9096 LDC Input Voltage Sensor Component Internal Failure Confirmed 12V battery no charging in ready on. Live data does not match given good values. LDC input voltage ~2V, LDC Output voltage 11.4C Dealer replaced ICCU and ICCU HV Fuse. Filled and bled cooling system. Verified vehicle charges on L2 charger. (Note I had been charging on an L3; this has not been verified.) I was told the ICCU ASSY had a new part number and was coming from a different factory. This part had a cost of nearly $5000 but was covered under warranty. HV fuse also replaced under warranty.Read more

Unsure of the part or system that failed, however the auxiliary battery and power distribution system part was replaced previously and did not correct the problem. HOW SAFETY WAS PUT AT RISK: The vehicle would not run and stranded me in an unfamiliar parking lot in Jerome, AZ. The electrical burning smell created a fire risk. A responding firefighter, a police officer, and online guidance all advised not to restart the vehicle due to the danger of fire. REPRODUCED/CONFIRMED BY DEALER: Not fully. Oxendale's pre-service inspection states they could not perform actual diagnostics due to the mechanical damage and burnt components. The dealer documented the damage but has not reproduced or confirmed a root cause. INSPECTED BY MANUFACTURER, POLICE, INSURANCE, OR OTHERS: A local firefighter and a local police officer observed the burning smell at the scene. The jeep dealership service advisor inspected and documented the damage. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer or an insurance representative. WARNING LAMPS/MESSAGES/SYMPTOMS BEFORE FAILURE: No prior warning lamps or messages before the incident. My 2014 Ford F-150 is exhibiting symptoms consistent with the Ford transmission molded lead frame safety recall 24S37. While driving approximately 55 mph late at night on a five-lane roadway, the vehicle suddenly and violently jerked, downshifted and came to a complete stop becoming stalled out as I was approaching a major traffic intersection. The truck was disabled in traffic and would not resta
... rt for approximately 2-3 minutes, leaving me stranded in an active travel lane and at risk of being struck from behind by another vehicle at high speed. The vehicle has displayed transmission-related symptoms including inability to correctly indicate gear position, harsh shifting, unexpected downshifts into 1st gear while driving, transmission fault warnings, and check engine lights. Initially it was mostly dying while idling and we thought it was the common "Fuse 27" issue, being unaware of the recall. Then the condition reproduced multiple times and symptoms worsened dramatically. Ford dealership inspected the vehicle. According to the technician's written report, the truck was found to be "having transmission problems, unable see what gear the truck is in and shifts to 1st gear while driving" and recommended replacement of the molded lead frame. The dealership confirmed transmission-related diagnostic trouble codes were present and documented symptoms consistent with lead frame failure. Despite the recommendation of the lead frame replacement and documenting symptoms consistent with the safety recall, the repair was not approved. The vehicle continues to experience symptoms associated with the recalled defect and is unsafe to drive away. Dealership confirms software update will not correct problem. I am submitting this complaint as the transmission defect poses a significant safety hazard to me, my children, and other drivers due to unexpected downshifts, loss of power, stalling, and the risk of becoming disabled in traffic. The truck remains available to inspectRead more
