After the 68c recall the power of the electric drive is limited. Frequent power loss occurs on highway driving during acceleration (merging onto highway or passing other cars). Despite the battery being charged up to 50% there is only 25% power available. The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The internal combustion engine states in these cases with several seconds delay. During that time the car

The power loss happens without warning during critical drive situations like merging onto a highway or passing other cars. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. ... t. The vehicle has shut off unexpectedly in active traffic, causing a sudden loss of power. This creates a dangerous situation where I am unable to accelerate or move with traffic flow, increasing the risk of being rear-ended or involved in a collision. This has occurred on public roads with other vehicles present, putting both myself and others at risk. The issue is intermittent and has not consistently been reproduced on demand. However, it has occurred multiple times during normal driving conditions. I am in the process of having the vehicle inspected and documented by a dealership. The issue has been reported to the manufacturer, and a case has been opened with Ford Motor Company. At this time, the vehicle has not yet been inspected by police or insurance representatives. There were no consistent warning lamps prior to the failure. At the time of the incident, the vehicle displayed messages including “Auto Start/Stop – Manual Restart Required” and “Shift to Park.” These messages appeared simultaneously with the loss of power. The issue has occurred intermittently without advance warning.Read more

I am reporting a safety issue with my 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio (VIN: [XXX] ). The vehicle has experienced repeated failures of critical lighting systems, including the headlights, brake lights, and turn signals, which have stopped working while driving. The issue began around 42,000 miles and occurred while the vehicle was covered under a Mopar Maximum Care warranty. There have been four repair at

I was also initially told this repair was not covered under warranty, which was later determined to be incorrect. Despite repairs, the issue has persisted. The vehicle also has an open recall with no available remedy. This creates a serious safety concern, as failure of headlights, brake lights, and turn signals increases the risk of an accident. On March 3rd 2026, I went to a doctors appointment. Halfway into the 50 minute drive, I noticed the on the infotainment screen that my GPS was still showing me being at home. It was working normally a couple days prior to parking the truck. After my Dr appointment, I did some online research and followed recommended procedure to do a hard reset of the infotainment/radio to try and refresh the sign
... al. Didn't work so I checked the recommended fuse and it was good. Realized that the OnStar and truck's cellular/data was also not working. After more research, I found that it's a very commonly reported issue on 2022-2024 trucks. Apparently the Telematics module will freeze/glitch or fail. Took my truck down to American Chevrolet on April 13th for the Data Gateway Module recall# N242435631 and asked their service advisor if he could find out what's going on. After the recall was performed, he verified that the Telematics module is indeed dead but, because I'm at 39,000 miles, they could not fix it at no cost. The biggest reason why I've been driving this truck so frequently is because it's the safest truck we have and the Automatic Crash Response & Emergency GPS gives my girlfriend some piece of mind when traveling with our two sons. She now refuses to travel with me in the truck. I'm also upset that the cellular data is paid up until I believe March of 2027 and now I can't use services paid for but, I'm more concerned about the safety features that are no longer working. For this part to completely fail or lock up at under 40k miles is absolutely absurd. I'm going to request a Good Faith repair through GMC but, I want this to be documented. Thank you for your review of this problem.Read more

I am reporting a serious safety concern with my 2016 Infiniti QX60 involving a defective cooling fan system. The vehicle currently experiences a ticking/tapping noise from the cooling fan, and the fan does not operate properly, which has caused the engine to overheat. This condition creates a significant safety hazard, as engine overheating can lead to sudden engine failure while driving, increasi
... ng the risk of an accident. The issue also makes it unsafe to use essential features such as the air conditioner in hot weather and the defroster in cold conditions, which impacts visibility and driver safety. This defect appears to be part of a known issue affecting this vehicle platform, where the cooling fan system fails prematurely. I understand there have been allegations, including in Anderson v. Nissan North America, that the manufacturer may have been aware of this defect but did not adequately disclose it. In addition, I am aware that this vehicle model has been associated with other safety-related recalls, including issues involving the ABS actuator (which may pose a fire risk) and the hybrid powertrain control system (if applicable). These existing concerns further highlight the urgency of addressing this defect. This is not normal wear and tear, but a potential safety-related defect that places drivers, passengers, and others on the road at risk. I am concerned about continuing to operate this vehicle and potentially causing an accident or injury due to overheating or loss of vehicle function. I am requesting that this issue be formally investigated to determine whether a recall or corrective action is necessary to prevent harm.Read more

Our 2025 Ford F-150 experienced a complete instrument cluster failure immediately following a manufacturer-initiated over-the-air software update. Component/System Failure: The instrument cluster/display failed completely. The speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, and all critical driving information are inoperable. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: This creates
... a serious safety hazard because the driver cannot monitor speed, fuel level, or warning indicators, increasing the risk of unsafe operation. Event Details: After the update installed overnight, the dashboard display was nonfunctional upon startup. The vehicle was operating normally prior to the update, and the failure occurred immediately afterward with no other issues. Inspection/Confirmation: The vehicle was taken to Southwest Ford dealership, where the issue was confirmed. We were told it is an electrical problem requiring repair. The dealership also stated another vehicle there had the same issue following an update. Manufacturer Response: The vehicle has approximately 46,000 miles and is out of warranty. We were quoted about $1,500 for repair. We opened a case with Ford Motor Company (Case #CCH-07666598-Q6Y1R3), but coverage was denied. Prior Warnings: There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms prior to the failure. We believe this may indicate a defect in the software update system that could affect other vehicles and pose a broader safety risk. We request investigation and appropriate action.Read more

The component that failed in both incidents was the vehicle’s wiring system, specifically wiring insulation that appears to be vulnerable to rodent damage. In the second incident, squirrels again accessed the engine compartment and chewed through wi
... ring affecting the braking system. This resulted in a sudden and unexpected loss of braking function. Yes, the damaged components should be available for inspection through the repair shop or service records, although I would need to confirm the exact location of the retained parts. Safety was significantly put at risk. During the second incident, the vehicle was occupied by multiple passengers, including minors. While approaching a red light, the driver attempted to brake and found that the brakes were not functioning properly. The driver had to shift the vehicle into park and use the emergency brake to stop, narrowly avoiding a serious collision. This created a high-risk, potentially life-threatening situation. The first incident was addressed by a mechanic after the check engine light appeared, confirming damage to the fuel injector-related wiring. The second incident was formally confirmed by a mechanic that the brake line was leaking from damage from, what they highly suspected and have seen in the past, a rodent . In the first incident, a check engine light appeared, prompting immediate attention. In the second incident, there were no warning lights, messages, or prior symptoms before the brake failure occurred.Read more

I leased a 2026 Electric GV70 from Genesis in June 2025. In January of 2026, when driving the car I got a warning sign to stop the vehicle and check the battery supply. At that point, the car went into sever power reduction and would only go 20 MPH or so. After 20-30 minutes, the car completely shut down and became inoperable. Luckily, I was near home and was able to get my car home. I had to have
... the vehicle towed on wheels as it was completely frozen to the dealership. They diagnosed it as a failure of the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). They replaced the ICCU but identified other issues that to this day are unresolved and my car is still in the shop. These cars were subject to a recall for ICCU failure but only to model year 2025. These ICCUs are continuing to fail on the 2026 models, and at an alarming rate. The head of service at the dealership told me they were dealing with "hundreds" of ICCU failures on Hyundai/Genesis vehicles. If I had been on a highway traveling at higher speeds and the car suddenly lost almost all power and would only drive for another few miles before completely shutting down, it would have created a dangerous situation. These cars need to be recalled - again. Hyundai/Genesis clearly dont know how to make electric cars/battery packs that work and should be held accountable. I believe they are downplaying this situation due to the prior recalls/class action lawsuits and dont want to experience further reputational damage.Read more

That dealer updated and also removed my dash to inspect the module. At this point as well 2 cases had been opened with ram themselves and I was wrote off as it will be fixed eventually. After that the issues never went away to this day but I was at a loss. A lemon law attorney told me that I didn’t have enough proof of the issue and i will share all my proof here with you guys. 2 month ago it froze the screen and accelerated on its own almost hitting a women and child pedestrian. I have had enough. I have worked hard for that money spent in the truck and cannot get the safety recall resolved. Now that the dash has been removed there are lights that shine in my eyes at night through the crease in the dash. All evidence cannot attach to this form because they are videos but I have over 65 showing proof and repair attemptsRead more

Backup camera has been recalled several months ago but no remedy has been made yet. I’ve also noticed when I turn on the wipers my screens including the dash and entertainment go dark and barely visible.

On Apil 6 about 6:15 am I was on my way to work. And I start smelling what appears to be a gas smell and I wasn’t quite sure what was coming from so I cracked the window a little bit and said that I would try to check it when I got to work seeing that I was only roughly about 10 minutes away from work and out the corner of my right eye I noticed a flicker of light and it appeared to be flames co
... ming from the passenger side of my vehicle under the dashboard around the blow motor area and the fuse box panel. I immediately poured over, turned the car off and the heat off that I had on because it was cold that morning popped the hood to ensure there was no fire coming from the hood ran around to the passenger side, noticed there was flames coming from underneath and beside panel, where the fuse box was ran to the back of my truck grabbed about a water and attempted to pour bottle of water on the cover of the box where I saw the flames coming out heard the sizzle realize it was electrical fire so I stopped using the water at that point realized there was a SUV that pulled up next to me which was a off duty police officer he said he saw the smoke call for the fire department at that time. I grabbed some fiber tiles that I use when I’m washing my car. I bought a handful of those up and pulled the cover off the fuse box and I start padding out the fire until I was able to get the fire out. Fire department came assessed. The vehicle said that the fire was put out successfully didn’t see any more source of the fire they left the scene as well as the police officer contacted my insurance company. They told the vehicle to my residency. The insurance damage of investor came out on April 10 and assessed contacted me on April 13 and told me the vehicle was totaled and the root cause was the climate control blower motor They had caught fire and caused enough damage that it will be too expensive to repair the entire vehicle..Read more

I purchased a 2026 GM Chevy Silverado. At 500 miles all dash warning lights came on while driving, radio played static. I disconnected battery in order to reset the computer. At 1400 miles in the heat of south Florida the air condition stopped working. after completing my drive 60 miles away with no ac i disconnected the battery to reset the computer. The ac started to work after this reset. I wen
... t to the dealer and they wanted me to leave the truck. They could not provide a loaner and the fact that this is my only vehicle I could not leave it. At 2000 miles the computer screen stated that there was an update. The computer would not update when I pressed start update. The screen then said unable to update conditions not met go to the dealer. I went back to the dealer and they said there is no update and they reset the computer. THIS IS GOING TO KILL SOMEONE WHEN THEY PULL OVER ON THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE THE CHRISTMASS TREE ON THE DASH CAUSED THEM TO PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY AND A SEMI IS GOING TO KILL THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY WHEN THEY ARE STOPED ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE GM CANNOT MAKE A VEHICLE THAT WORKS CORRECTLY. PLEASE GO AFTER GM THE COMPANY THAT STOLE YOUR TAX DOLLARS WHEN THEY WENT BANKRUPT.Read more

We have a 2019 Nissan Leaf that I believe is covered under California's Lemon Law. We were unable to properly use the vehicle due to the fast charge DC capabilities being falsely reported by the dealership when we purchased it. We were told to stop using the DC chargers as a fire might break out, thus making the vehicle unsafe to charge at home and unsustainable for our work/life use. Several of t
... he R24B2 recall milestones were missed in rectifying this charging issue and there is seemingly no solution to this dangerous battery issue. Since, the vehicle will also inexplicably drop in battery performance from 70+% to 9% when the vehicle is cold and driving uphill with the defroster on. Looking this up on google has shown us that it is the signs of a weak battery, although the dealership says that it's running optimally. We've taken it to the dealership and they cannot replicate the problem and will not help us replace the battery. And since taking it in, the driver's side door now inexplicably won't lock or unlock with a push of a button or key fob. It has to be manually locked or unlocked. Extremely dangerous when walking to my car alone at night and having to now get in through the passenger side to unlock the driver's side door before entering my car. I do not feel safe with this car in the least. The Leaf is only 7 years old but acts like it's 17. A nightmarish purchase on our end that did not live up to the promise of what the dealer sold us. And apparently, it was fully known that the fast-charging DC capability did not work properly when sold to us. We would like to trigger a buy back from Nissan Consumer Affairs to the date when the recall was first announced. Thank you.Read more
