Incident date: Feb 25, 2026
While driving, the vehicle displayed a 'Drivetrain malfunction' warning on the dashboard and began jerking. I safely pulled over and turned off the vehicle. Immediately after stopping, there was a distinct, strong electrical burning smell coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was inspected by an authorized BMW dealership. The dealer diagnosed a catastrophic failure of the starter motor.
... The vehicle's computer logged fault codes 21611A (excessive counter-torque), 21A511 (Start system: Timeout), and 216119 (Line disconnection). These codes confirm the starter motor suffered a severe electrical overload and thermal event. This premature failure and fire hazard identically matches the safety risks outlined in BMW's recent massive starter motor recalls (such as NHTSA Recalls 25V-636 and 26V-056), but my specific vehicle is currently excluded from those recall campaigns. The starter requires complete replacement due to this overheating damageRead more

The vehicle experiences sudden engine shutdown while driving. The engine completely turns off without warning. There are no warning lights, no check engine light, and no prior indication of failure. The exact component causing the failure is unknown at this time, but it appears to involve the engine and/or electrical system. The vehicle is available for inspection and has been taking to doge and n
... othing is being done yet. The vehicle shuts off while I am actively driving, causing immediate loss of power. This creates a dangerous situation because I lose acceleration and power steering while in traffic. I transport six children daily in this vehicle. Sudden engine shutdown while driving significantly increases the risk of a crash, especially in traffic or at higher speeds. This is a serious safety hazard for my family and others on the road. The dealership has not confirmed the cause. The vehicle has been taken in multiple times for service and diagnostics, and over $4,000 has been spent on repairs. However, the stalling issue continues and has not been resolved. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Dodge dealership service department multiple times. No manufacturer representative has inspected the vehicle yet. There were no warning lamps, no check engine light, and no dashboard messages prior to the engine shutting off. The shutdown occurs without any advance warning. The vehicle operates normally and then abruptly turns off.Given the sudden loss of power while driving and the risk of collision, I believe this may be a broader safety defect that could potentially affect other vehicles of the same model.Read more

Purchased vehicle used in 2024 and purchased a 3 year extended bumper to bumper warranty. The center screen was restarting every 3 minutes and was draining my battery down to being completely dead when it was not running. On 12/15/2025 I brought the truck to a Ram dealer with the problem and it was diagnosed by the dealer (Sansone Auto Mall) as needing to replace the entire radio/HVAC center stack

The vehicle is experiencing a serious door locking malfunction. Even after the car is locked, the doors repeatedly attempt to lock again every few seconds. During this time, the horn sounds and the lights flash continuously, as if the vehicle is trying to re-lock itself but failing. This behavior continues repeatedly. This issue raises serious safety concerns for the following reasons: •The veh

The problem occurs intermittently but frequently enough to cause concern. There have been no recent modifications made to the vehicle. I am requesting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigate this issue to determine whether it is a widespread defect affecting other 2015 Nissan Rogue vehicles. Having a huge amount of probable parasitic drain. Can’t figure out where it’s coming from but killing a brand new battery in weeks
Incident date: Feb 25, 2026
To the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration I am submitting this formal safety complaint regarding a persistent and dangerous pattern of mechanical and electronic failures in my 2025 Hyundai Elantra N. These issues have rendered the vehicle unsafe for regular operation on public highways. The safety concerns began at 2810 miles when the vehicle first showed signs of structural and electr
... onic instability. Since that initial mileage the vehicle has demonstrated a progressive inability to maintain its steering and alignment specifications which has led to unpredictable and hazardous driving conditions. By 16550 miles the steering issues became severe. The vehicle intermittently began to dart to the left or right without driver input. A diagnostic alignment check at that time confirmed multiple values were out of specification including the right front and right rear toe. These red zone readings were documented by the dealership machinery but the root cause was not corrected. Along with the steering failures the electronic systems began to malfunction. The steering wheel buttons and drive mode memory settings started resetting randomly which prevents the driver from reliably controlling vehicle configurations. As of February 28 2026 at 18037 miles the condition of the vehicle has deteriorated further. The steering system is now physically incapable of holding factory specifications for more than 30 days. In the last 1487 miles the alignment shifted from the right side of the car to the left side with the left front and left rear toe now showing failing red values. This mechanical instability causes the vehicle to wander and pull aggressively. Most critically the electronic safety systems are now failing. The Lane Keep Assist functionality frequently deactivates itself without warning or external cause. When this safety feature shuts down it often coincides with the car darting toward other lanes.Read more

I am writing to formally report a recurring safety defect regarding the infotainment system in my 2022 Honda HR-V. For over a month, the system has remained completely non-functional (blank screen). Prior to this total failure, the unit exhibited intermittent power cycles since the date of purchase around February 2024. Upon inspection by an authorized Honda dealership, technicians confirmed that
... this is a known computer hardware issue frequent in this model year. Despite their admission that they "see this a lot," there is currently no active recall to address the defect. Safety Implications This failure is not merely a convenience issue; it creates several significant safety hazards: • Loss of Driver Assistance: The rearview camera and LaneWatch™ camera are completely disabled, significantly increasing the risk of collisions during reversing or lane changes. • Distracted Driving: I am unable to use integrated navigation, forcing reliance on handheld devices for directions. • Emergency Communication: The internal USB ports have failed along with the unit, preventing phone charging. This leaves me at risk of having no communication during a roadside emergency or breakdown. Evidence I have documented video evidence of a certified Honda technician stating that this is a pervasive and "very common" issue with this vehicle's architecture. I urge the association to investigate these systemic failures. A safety-critical component like the rearview camera should not be subject to such widespread hardware instability without a manufacturer-led remedy.Read more

I am submitting this urgent complaint regarding my 2015 Honda Odyssey, equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine referenced in (TSB) 20-023 which acknowledges that the front rocker arm oil control valve (spool valve) gasket may fail and leak engine oil directly onto the alternator located beneath it. This condition can cause alternator contamination, charging system failure, electrical malfunction, and pot
... ential fire risk due to oil exposure to electrical components. Despite knowledge of this issue, Honda did not notify vehicle owners and did not initiate a recall. Before the first breakdown occurred, I experienced a frightening and dangerous incident while in traffic. Without any human interference and without my pressing the accelerator, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and moved forward on its own, nearly striking the vehicle in front of me. I had to react immediately to prevent a collision. This unexpected surge was extremely disturbing and appeared to involve an electrical malfunction. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle broke down. After the first breakdown, I replaced the battery. Within approximately one hour of driving again, the vehicle failed again due to alternator failure. I was stranded at night, in darkness, alone, and exposed to active traffic. This created an immediate and foreseeable risk of collision, serious bodily injury, or death. Another car in that area around that time broke down on the highway I was expected to use and was hit by a semi on 95 and the driver of the stopped car was killed. That could have easily been me. A defect that can cause sudden electrical malfunction, unintended vehicle movement, loss of charging capability, vehicle disablement in traffic, and potential fire hazard constitutes a safety-related defect under federal motor vehicle safety standards. I respectfully request that you Initiate a formal investigation Evaluate whether a recall is warranted. Require reimbursement for repair costs Thank you very much.Read more

... dy 6 six month since Aug 28, 2025. It’s when ever I am getting inside my car, driving, or just when it’s parked, I feel all that severe pain in the body, severe ear pressure, severe heart pressure, pain in hands, legs from high EMF exposure inside Tesla, also electric shocks from the floor, back of the seat, seat, wheel. My Tesla Y caused severe damaged t my health. I have all those symptoms and pain only when I am inside the car, when I am not in the car, I don’t feel any pain, and I don’t feel all of those severe symptoms and pain in my body. I have this car from 2024, it was perfectly fine, except that during hot season in Vegas, when the temperature is above 80 F, the glass roof got extremely hot, and it burned my head severely despite I cover with sun protector glass roof. But besides that I didn’t have any issues with my Tesla Y. Only after I brought my car to Tesla service on Aug 28. 2025, same day Tesla started causing me severe pain from High EMF and high Voltage causing electric shocks. I contacted local Tesla service many times and tried to address this issues. They didn’t help. I got response from Tesla manager at W. Sahara “ hope it will resolve by itself”:(( no one addressed this issue seriously. I noticed, every time I broght my Tesla Y to local Tesla services here in Las Vegas, the EMF exposure and electric shocks became even more extreme, worst like a 100 times more:(( I honestly after these horrific experience with Local Tesla services I DONT TRUST THOSE TESLA TECHS anymore. PLEASE HELP AND CONDUCT HIGH EMF AND HIGH VOLTAGE INSPECTIONS FOR MY CAR!Read more
