Car has had multiple issues with check engine light coming on for the last 2 years and stays on especially during the winter months. The purge pump has failed multiple times. Hello everyone. Since I purchased the vehicle new, the HVAC controls have never functioned properly. The A/C engages with the button off; this issue is only temporary solved by turning the button on and off again. The mode defaults to face and feet; this issue is only temporary solved by cycling through the modes until you reach your desired mode. Besides this being a very annoying problem, I fou
... nd this to be dangerous for me because I like cool air blowing to my face, and I rarely catch this issue on time. Instead of cool air blowing to my face only as it's selected in my car, cool air is being blown to my face and feet instead. My feet get numb and my foot movements are slow when theyre too cold, and it takes a long time to warm back up. I usually pull over for a few minutes to warm my feet up to get back on the road, sometimes I'll get out of my car and walk back and forth to get the blood flow going. The dealership has inspected my vehicle twice to get it fixed under warranty, but so far their repairs have not solved the problem. In my opinion it is most likely a software bug that could be caused by a faulty module or program code, or something in the canbus system. I am almost certain that it is not a mechanical failure.Read more

I was coming out of a drive thru car wash and driving towards an intersection with Rail road tracks on the road getting ready to turn left going 15 to 20 mph. As I turned my vehicle began skidding causing me to loose control and hitting 2 vehicles head on . I believe if my traction control (stability control) system or abs were functioning correctly this could have been avoided.

The component that repeatedly fails is the vehicle’s electronic display/infotainment system (dual digital screens/MBUX system) and potentially related electrical components in my 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC. The system has malfunctioned six (6) separate times since I purchased the vehicle new in May 2025. When the malfunction occurs, both display screens suddenly go completely black and be
... come inoperable while the vehicle is running. During these failures, the vehicle also produces a repetitive clicking sound from the dashboard area while the screens are off. The most serious incident occurred on February 17, 2026, when the screens shut down while I was driving and I detected a burning electrical smell inside the vehicle. This raised significant concerns about a possible electrical malfunction or fire risk. The digital display system provides critical driving information, including vehicle settings, safety alerts, and operational controls. When the screens shut down, the driver loses access to important vehicle information and control functions, which creates a potential safety hazard while operating the vehicle. This issue has been reproduced multiple times and the vehicle has been taken to Mercedes-Benz of Jackson, Mississippi for inspection and repair attempts on several occasions. The dealership has attempted repairs and indicated that they have opened a case with the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing department regarding the recurring electrical issue. Due to the repeated electrical failures, clicking sounds from the dashboard area, and the burning electrical odor detected while the vehicle was in operation, I am concerned that this issue may indicate a serious electrical defect that could potentially lead to overheating or fire. The malfunction occurs while the vehicle is being driven, which places the driver and passengers at risk. Because the display system repeatedly shuts down and the issue has occurred multiple times despite dealer inspections and repairRead more

I was at a stop light, car was stopped, the electronics on the vehicle looked like it went through a reboot, a/c blower fluctuated (turned off then back on), all displays went out and restarted like it does when you start the car. When the traffic light turned green, and I stepped on the gas, the car shuddered and hesitated, like the transmission, abs and traction control were all going haywire. T
... hen the car drove fine. As long as I do not slow down too much or stop. Once I got home and had to back up into the garage, it went through that haywire cycle again. This was the 3rd time this has happened on this car. But after I shut off the engine, wait a little while and start it again, symptom seems to go away, until it decides to happen again. I have had this car since July of 2024, and since that time, I have had this happen to me 3 times and 2 times to my wife. I have read on the net and one of the possibilities talked about if the abs control unit, where soldered wires seems to be melting off of the circuit boards and causing intermittent connection, therefore exhibiting erratic behavior. There are even services on ebay where you can send in your whole abs unit and they will open them up, clean and re-solder the wires. This seems to be scary and concerning from a safety perspective. Please investigate the issue for us who are affected. Occurrences are getting more frequent (almost every other day) and it just happened again today 3/3/26.Read more

My wife and I went camping to our favorite RV park in Lyndon Station Wisconsin, my sister met us there for a weekend of relaxation and visit. During the first nights stay we were suddenly woke by a smoke filled bedroom/bathroom. Got up and flipped light on and our bedroom was filled with smoke immediately my wife heard a buzzing noise and then the sound of light switch being flipped off hard. I im
... mediately woke my sister up in the front of the coach. Opened the door to get fresh air. Its 1:18 in the morning. Searched frantically for the source, had extinguisher ready. Opened every compartment underneath, the very rear of the RV has storage underneath. The smell of burning wires were strong in that comapartment. Removed side panels in compartment and found on the left side a outlet mounted to the floor had started on fire, cause was the shower drain had leaked without knowing and water had dripped right on top of the outlet that was mounted directly underneath the drain line. The outlet was for the hot water heater, burned the outlet completely melting the outlet and the metal inside the outlet.( Have pictures of all of it) and still have the outlet. Could have been overtaken by the smoke but thank god we werent! Firealarm never went off, battery is replaced yearly. We had only owned the camper a couple of years. Called Camping World in Little Falls, MN they have gave us the run around, told us to call Forrest River no response back. Called CW again nothing but run around for over two years. Nothing, no returned calls, no letter, no satisfaction. I have fixed the problem in our RV relocated a new outlet and wiring for the hot water heater. This issue could be deadly next time to someone else, thank god it wasnt us. I am informing of this issue cause the next person that has this happen could die from this serious issue. I assure you if I didnt think this is a life or death situation I would not be contacting you. This needs to be addressed. No help from dealer.Read more

The driver (my wife) was operating the Kia EV6 (with approximately 10,000 miles) when the vehicle suddenly experienced a severe loss of motive power. While driving, a warning message appeared on the dashboard indicating an issue with the power supply. Immediately after, the vehicle forced itself into "turtle mode," severely restricting the maximum speed to 20 mph and refusing to accelerate further
... . This sudden, unexpected deceleration on an active roadway put the driver at a significant risk of a rear-end collision. The driver managed to slowly navigate the vehicle back to our residence at a maximum speed of 20 mph, which was extremely hazardous. Shortly after safely parking at the residence, the vehicle experienced a complete electrical failure. It would no longer start, could not be shifted into neutral, and ultimately had to be dragged onto a flatbed tow truck by roadside assistance because the wheels were locked. The vehicle was towed to an authorized Kia dealership, where it is currently undergoing diagnosis and inspection for what is heavily suspected to be a total failure of the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) and 12-volt battery system. The vehicle and the failed components are currently at the dealership and are available for inspection upon request. Note: This catastrophic power loss occurred just weeks after the vehicle was in the shop for nearly a month to have its entire high-voltage battery pack replaced due to severe range degradation, marking the second major electrical system failure on this vehicle.Read more

The tail lights did not turn back on at all but the officer allowed my brother in law to come follow the vehicle home since I was so close. I ended up only driving the car during daytime hours. When I called the customer service line, I could not understand a word the person was saying so I gave up and decided to just drive during daylight hours for safety. When I reached out to Fox management, I was told there were no issues with inoperable tail lights or high beams even though when I checked the vehicle back in, the attendant noted on an incident ticket that the tailights were not working. He did not note the high beams not working on the ticket but they were still inoperable at the time of drop off. If this rental car company rents this vehicle to anyone else, someone could be killed. I asked them for a refund and they denied it based on them saying there was no issues. I not only reported this for a refund but SAFETY reasons so the next driver of the car doesn't get hurt. They clearly never inspected the issue any further if they say the tailights and high beams work. They did not work.
