I have a 2020 Lincoln Corsair with an active recall on the infotainment system. My screen freezes constantly, and I’m unable to complete system updates at all—it just spins or crashes & my rearview camera glitches out. This is a huge safety issue!!! This makes the vehicle difficult and unsafe to use, especially since it affects visibility and system controls. I understand a fix isn’t avai
... lable yet, but my system is essentially unusable. Since the system won’t update, I can’t even apply the future recall fix when it becomes available. This seems like a hardware failure related to the recall issue.Read more

On 11.25.25, my MDX was involved in a multi-car hit and run on highway 101 SB at the Laurel Drive off ramp. The vehicle sustained two points of impact: (1) substantial front/driver side impact (2) rear-passenger side impact. Despite the severity, location of impact and speed of travel at the time of the collision, all airbags deployed except for the driver side curtain airbag. Importantly, at t
... he time of the crash, the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and associated AcuraWatch driver assist systems were activated. The vehicle’s safety assistance technology was engaged and functioning immediately prior to impact. Considering the above mentioned facts, driver side airbag failing to deploy, raises serious concerns regarding Possible software or signal-processing malfunction or electronic communication between radar/camera systems and the SRS module. The nature and severity of the impact clearly met deployment criteria for the driver side airbag. This failure raises concern that there may be a defect in the SRS system, including but not limited to: Airbag inflator component or propellant issue. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) crash sensor calibration. SRS control module deployment logic. Crash signal sensors. Event-trigger logic or interconnnect failure. Wiring harness or inflator defect. Whether the system registered steering correction or impact prediction, the failure to deploy increased my risk and resulting injury, as well as compromised the fundamental safety system designed to protect drivers in front-impact crashes.Read more

I started driving and pulled out of a parking lot onto a busy road. The ICCU had failed unknownst to me and as I was underway the car started losing power and the dashboard lit up with warnings about the electrical system. I was limited to 25 MPH for a brief time and struggled to turn off into a parking lot amongst much faster traffic. While doing this the car slowed further to 10 MPH. I limpe
... d at this speed into the parking lot at which point it turned off and lot all power. This happened over the course of about 30 seconds. If it had happened on a busier road I would have been in trouble. On the highway and it would have been extremely dangerous. It was dangerous enough as is with cars passing me 20+ MPH faster than my car could go. This all occurred with no warning, and is due to an issue with the ICCU in the car that Hyundai has known about for years and has refused to address or fix.Read more

While lowering the convertible top on my Mini Cooper Convertible, the trunk partition was not fully in place. In this case, the safety interlock system failed to warn me or stop the roof from lowering. While the roof was folding, the rear glass shattered, causing $6,00

The dealership confirmed that the rear parcel shelf was not fully in place and explained that the sensor only detects one side(in my case the trunk partition was in its place on one side ) , allowing the top to operate even when unsafe. They did not cover the damage under warranty. The vehicle was inspected by the authorized Mini Cooper dealership at the time of the incident. No police or independent inspections have been conducted. No warning lamps, messages, or alerts appeared, and the roof operated normally, giving no indication that the partition was not fully in place. The vehicle was only three months old. The shattered glass spread throughout the backseat and trunk area, creating a serious risk of injury to any passengers in the rear. Luckily no one was in the back at the time of the incidentRead more

Shift to Park warning comes on when the car is turned off and it is in park. When we park the the car and shift the car to park and turn the car off the warning "shift to park" comes on and the electrical systems will not disengage. ... ck the switch under the gear shift and hope that the shift to park warning eventually goes off and you can exit the car. It sometimes takes 8-10 minutes for this to happen. This first happened intermittently and now happens every time we turn off the car. It has been replicated in a dealership and service center. The independent service center that did our brakes said they were aware this was a common problem in GMCs and they experienced it. We have been told it is a microswitch and the repair option is not under any kind of recall or warranty and up to us to pay for the full repair even though it seems there are thousands of people online experiencing the same problem and paying hundreds of dollars for this fix.Read more

I purchased this vehicle on January 5, 2026, from a family-owned dealership in Broken Arrow, OK. The vehicle was purchased “as-is” with a guarantee of sale and a Carfax report. After purchasing the vehicle, I drove it home and it remained parked until January 8, 2026. On Thursday, January 8, 2026, the vehicle experienced an unexpected engine stall while I was driving. At the same time, the sli

I contacted the dealership immediately to report the issue, and the vehicle was towed back to JT Wholesale Auto Sales on Friday, January 9, 2026. On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, I was informed by the dealership that the vehicle had undergone a complete inspection and that no mechanical issues were found. Relying on this representation, I retrieved the vehicle and drove it home. However, after retrieving the vehicle, I continued to have concerns regarding its condition. On Thursday, January 15, 2026, I took the vehicle to Stellar Auto Service located at 2209 N. Yellowood Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012 for an independent inspection. Stellar Auto Service specializes in Lexus and Toyota vehicles. During their inspection, they identified the following issues: • Engine timing chain cover leak • Worn drive belt Stellar Auto Service was informed of the slip indicator light activation and the engine stalling that I had experienced. However, at the time of their inspection, they were unable to identify or reproduce any issues related to the slip indicator light or the stalling concern that I reported. On Sunday, February 15, 2026, the slip indicator light illuminated again, and the vehicle stalled while in operation. I was forced to safely pull off the roadway. I turned the car off, waited, restarted the vehicle, and drove home. The same issue occurred again on Sunday, March 8 and 15th, 2026. My vehicle is subject to an active safety recall (NHTSA #25V-636) issued in September 2025 involving the engine starter. As of today, no remedy has been provided by the manufacturer. This has caused significant financial ha

The issue has effectively rendered the vehicle unusable. The manufacturer has failed to provide a repair, replacement, or timeline for resolution. The rear window on my 2017 GMC Sierra shattered unexpectedly without any impact. The vehicle had been remote started in very cold weather and the rear window glass suddenly shattered while the truck was parked. The Auto Rear Defog feature in the vehicle settings was turned off, however the truck had been started using the remote start feature when the glass shattered. Photos of the shattered window are available. I am submitting this report because the rear window defroster system may cause the glass to overheat and shatter unexpectedly.Read more

Incident date: Feb 19, 2026
While driving under normal conditions, the vehicle’s blind spot monitoring / side object detection system frequently activates alert warnings when no vehicle is present. These false alerts occur intermittently and are more common during rain or wet road conditions. Over time, the repeated false warnings create a “boy who cried wolf” condition, where the driver becomes conditioned to ignore o
... r discount blind spot alerts. This undermines the effectiveness of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and increases the risk that a real blind spot warning may be ignored during an actual lane change. The alerts activate without any adjacent vehicles visible, causing confusion and distraction. This results in hesitation, aborted lane changes, and reduced driver trust in the system. The issue has occurred multiple times and is not an isolated event. The dealer has acknowledged the concern but advised that no repair or software update is currently available. The manufacturer has acknowledged the issue but has not provided a fix. I believe this represents a safety concern because a safety warning system that generates frequent false alerts can condition drivers to disregard legitimate warnings.Read more

Incident date: Mar 12, 2026
On February 18, 2026, while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle’s automatic emergency braking system activated unexpectedly. There were no vehicles, pedestrians, or obstacles present. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop, causing the tires to squeal and creating a hazardous situation. A second incident occurred on March 14, 2026, while traveling approximately 55 mph. Under normal driving co
... nditions with no apparent hazards, the automatic braking system again engaged suddenly and without warning, bringing the vehicle to an unsafe and unexpected deceleration. This malfunction poses a significant safety risk, as it could lead to rear-end collisions or loss of vehicle control, endangering both the driver and other motorists. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership on March 16, 2026, for inspection. Initial diagnostic testing reportedly found no issues. At my request, the dealership retained the vehicle overnight for further evaluation. Upon pickup, I was informed that a software update was performed on the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) module; however, no definitive cause of the malfunction was identified. The dealership also indicated that the manufacturer is aware of similar issues but has not provided a resolution at this time. There were no warning lights, alerts, or prior indications of a malfunction before either incident occurred. The problem has not been resolved and may still be present. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.Read more

While operating my 2024 GMC Hummer EV at a low speed in a school zone, I came to a complete stop at a stop sign and began making a left turn. As I initiated the turn, the steering wheel suddenly locked and became unresponsive. I was unable to turn the wheel back to the right or regain control of the vehicle’s direction. At the same time, the vehicle did not respond as expected when attempting t
... o stop. Because I could not steer or properly control the vehicle, I collided with another vehicle. The impact with the other vehicle is what ultimately brought my vehicle to a stop. During the incident, multiple warning messages appeared on the dashboard, including a message indicating: “Service Steering System.” My vehicle sustained minimal damage due to its height (a bent side step), however the other vehicle sustained damage. Police responded to the scene and a report was filed. I was NOT issued a citation. (see report attached) The vehicle has since been towed to Northwest Hills Chevy/GMC in Torrington CT for inspection by the GMC manufacturer. This incident raises serious safety concerns, as the sudden loss of steering control at low speed could have resulted in significantly more severe consequences under different circumstances. I was in a school zone at dismissal time going to pick up my son. This appears to be a potential mechanical or electronic steering system failure. I believe this represents a serious safety defect that should be investigated to prevent similar incidents.Read more

On March 11, 2026, the vehicle's DC/DC Converter failed completely without warning. It was towed to the Land Rover of Monmouth (NJ) where this failure was confirmed. The failure of the DC/DC converter resulted in the vehicle going completely "dead" while driving with my wife and children. There was no warning. Fortunately for my family and I, it occurred on a side street by my home and did not
... occur on a highway or other busy road. Had this occurred on a highway or busy road, this would have absolutely put our lives in danger. As noted, the failure of the DC/DC converter was confirmed by the Land Rover of Monmouth (NJ) authorized dealership (I have a video from the dealership stating and confirming the failure). There were zero warnings at the time it occurred; it just lost power and shut down. Based on my research after this incident, it appears to be a pervasive problem with Land Rover and while there appear to be active recalls for certain Land Rover models, inexplicably, there is no current recall for this particular model. My wife and I are very concerned that even if/when it is repaired, this will happen again. This is the primary vehicle my wife uses for transportation with our young children and I am extremely afraid of the risk that this poses to their lives. I've notified the dealership from where I purchased it and was directed to contact Land Rover USA. I have not heard back from Land Rover USA. This well-documented, pervasive defect puts lives at risk and is extremely dangerous. As an attorney, I find Land Rover's knowledge of this frequent and extensive issue -- while only having a limited recall and not providing any information to owners of other Land Rover vehicles -- is a reckless disregard for the safety of others and creates an unreasonable risk of harm to others, like my family.Read more

I have to manually lock and unlock the doors myself just to get them to work, which has happened multiple times while my kids were trying to exit the vehicle. The problem has recently gotten worse. Last week, I had an issue where the door would not open at all because the latch stayed engaged even though the door was "unlocked." I had to pull the manual lever multiple times before it would finally open.
