... e steering wheel suddenly locked and the braking system failed completely. I lost all control of the vehicle and was unable to slow or steer the car, leading to a crash. Despite the severity of the incident, the airbags did not deploy. At the time, I did not have obvious injuries, but shortly afterward, I began to experience severe pain and physical impairment, including an inability to stand or walk without difficulty. These symptoms have worsened and are now impacting my daily life. The vehicle is now completely inoperable and appears to have suffered a critical system malfunction, possibly involving its electric or software control systems. There were no warning lights or indicators before the failure. I believe this is a serious safety defect in the Ford Mach-E and could pose a danger to other drivers. I am requesting that the NHTSA investigate whether this is part of a broader pattern of defects affecting Ford’s EV line and take action to prevent further injuries or fatalities. On 01/20/25, I brought my vehicle to Nissan of Downtown L.A , to fix a manufacturer recall of drivers side airbag. The invoice indicates "Inspect Driver Bag Module and Replace Driver Air Bag Cover." "Upon Inspection Performed Recall, Inspect Driver Air Bag And Replace Driver Air Bag Cover And Check Found Vehicle OK." Approximately four months later, the red airbag light on my dashboard was f
... lashing. On 05/13/25, I returned to Nissan Of Downtown L A. I explained the issue to service advisor, Litzy Carranza. She stated if the results of the diagnostic testing weren't related to the recall issue, I would be responsible for the cost to repair. When I received the results: "Airbag Light Flashing, Check For DTCS And Found B1049 And B1054. Check Wires And Connectors Found OK. Recommend Replacing Airbag Module And Spiral Cable To Start." Litzy informed me the cost to fix issue would be approximately $2,000. I declined to have issue repaired at my cost, and I left dealership. On 05/14/25, I contacted Nissan Headquarters to file a complaint. Case #[XXX] was established. Several days later, I spoke with Marshay, Nissan Consumer Affairs. She indicated that each Nissan dealership is independently owned and operated. Therefore, Nissan Headquarters can not force Nissan Of Downtown L.A, to repair the airbag issue. However, she will have the service manager call me the next day. On 06/06/25, I received a voice-mail message from Lance, Nissan of Downtown L.A. Service Director. I did not return his phone call, since he didn't specifically indicate that Nissan would take full responsibility and repair the flashing airbag light for free. I don't know if the airbag can deploy at any time, or not at all, if I'm involved in an accident. I am already at a higher risk for serious injury due to receiving a right cornea transplant, wearing a specialty contact lens, and glasses. The force of a deployed airbag can shatter my right cornea, and shatter the lens. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFRead more

On [XXX], I purchased a 2023 Jeep Gladiator from Lakeland Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram in Lakeland, Florida. At the time of purchase. I purchased a 36K/3 Year Bumper to Bumper warranty on the vehicle. A diagnos
... tic test was completed, and they informed me that the airbags were inoperable, and the harnesses were sliced. The front door lock was also not working as well as other items. There was no way for me to know that the airbags were in that type of shape when I purchased the vehicle. I contacted Lakeland Jeep and spoke to about 5 managers as well as my salesperson Kyle. Justin Purdy asked me to forward the paperwork to his email and ii did do so. The problem is that I was sold a vehicle that was unsafe, and I purchased a warranty to cover the cost of the repairs. No one from Lakeland Jeep has contacted me back about this situation. I have spent $2,600 in repairs that I should not have had to pay. I am filing this complaint because this is not the proper way to deal with customers. I going to take the appropriate actions against this dealership starting today. I should not have had to pay this amount of money for these repairs. The warranty did not cover the repairs. The dealership should have made sure the vehicle was inspected prior to selling this vehicle to me. I have pictures of the vehicle prior to purchase that was on the dealership’s website. I have screen shots of the vehicle. I have my bill of sale which contains the warranty that was purchased. This is unfair and unethical. I am not happy about how I have been treated and I am not happy with the fact that I was driving a vehicle without all the safety equipment in place. The impact caused severe damage to the entire front end of my vehicle: the hood crumpled, the front bumper and grille detached, and internal components such as the radiator supp

Despite the severity of the frontal impact, none of the airbags deployed. This was unexpected, as the collision was strong enough to stop both vehicles instantly—pushing my vehicle backwards until both vehicles came to a halt, resulting in significant structural deformation. There were no warning lamps, error messages, or previous issues with the airbag system prior to the accident. Photographs and video footage of the incident are available. As a direct result of the airbag non-deployment, my head and jaw made contact with the steering wheel, causing chest, jaw, neck, back, and shoulder pain, as well as severe headaches. After the accident, the vehicle was inspected by vehicle two’s insurance company and reviewed by Nissan’s Incident Investigation Specialist, Dakota McGregor. Nissan denied my claim for non-deployment of airbags verbally via landline. My 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has had squeaky brakes for many months (from 4,000 miles onward and consistently continues to be an annoyance, nuisance, and safety hazard while intensifying in frequency), but despite taking the vehicle to the Toyota dealer more than 4 times, they have been unable to repair the issue. At least twice the air bag sensors have come on for the backseat when there was nobody
... seated in the backseat, distracting me from safely driving. Toyota has done nothing to right the wrong mechanically, refund me for the vehicle (a lease) or offer a replacement. I have a 14 page document filed with the Florida Attorney General Lemon Law Division thoroughly indicating why these ongoing mechanical failures, safety hazards, nuisances and distractions to me the driver substantially impair the use, value, and safety of the vehicle—fulfilling key criteria under Florida Statutes § 681.102 and § 681.104, which I am happy to provide all consumers and attorneys willing to launch a CLASS ACTION against Toyota. Florida law defines "impairment of value" not by market collapse, but by any reasonable reduction in consumer confidence. Consumer disclosure laws require honesty about defects. Florida Statute § 681.102(15) defines a “nonconformity” as a defect that “substantially impairs the use, value, or safety of the motor vehicle.” My vehicle has been subject to repair more than 4 times for the same defect within 24 months and thus qualifies for relief. The manufacturer’s failure to permanently correct the squeaky brakes—even after attempted repairs—demonstrates a pattern of unresolved nonconformity. The squeaky brake issue is not a cosmetic inconvenience—it affects the vehicle's functionality, resale integrity, and safety assurance. Toyota acknowledges the problem exists (via TSB) but has failed to provide a lasting solution. If unresolved, this defect would materially concern any reasonable consumer and diminish confidence in the vehicle’s reliability and safety.Read more

I was driving down the road and my right side curtain airbag deployed. I did let my insurance company know but was told that they couldn’t do anything for me since it was not an accident. I called the local Mazda dealership and they told me that they could inspect the vehicle but it would not be on them. That it could have been a rat that chewed on something to cause it to deploy because I was n

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report a serious issue concerning the recall history of my vehicle and to request an investigation into what appears to be unresolved and inaccurately closed recalls. Vehicle Information: •Make/Model/Year: 2018 Chevy Malibu hybrid •Date of Purchase: 2018 (I have been the sole owner since) Several safety recalls were previously listed for my vehicle o
... n your website and through the manufacturer, but I recently checked again and now it states there are zero open recalls. I have never had these recalls repaired, and no dealership has performed or contacted me regarding these repairs. Furthermore, my vehicle is currently displaying check engine lights related to the same issues previously associated with the recalls. This suggests the issues were never addressed, yet they no longer appear in the recall system. I am concerned that: •These recalls may have been falsely marked as “completed” •There may be an internal data error causing safety risks to be hidden •I am being denied free repairs due to incorrect closure of these recalls Please investigate this matter as I believe it affects not only my vehicle but possibly others. I can provide any documents, error codes, or additional details upon request. Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent safety concern. The dash pad in the 2005 to 2009 Subaru Legacy and Outback models have a very common problem of deteriorating to where they become sticky and then sections start cracking and falling off. My concern is that this is happening in the area of the passenger air bag. There is a portion of the dash bad which says SRS AIRBAG imprinted in the pad material and mines actually about to fall off. If the air
... bag should deploy from a serious enough collision, these loose pieces will be one projectiles and could easily cause injury esp to someone eye. I reached out to SOA but they offered no help. The claim number was 250530-0001813. Subaru did extend the warranty on this a few years back but they have since expired. The missing piece in the image is towards the bottom but the area directly over the airbag is severely cracked.Read more
