Front passenger safety restraint system fault - this seems to be very common issue on Tesla Model 3 where I'm told some wires or sensor is pinched on the seat when the seat is reclined too far back or forward. It could cause an issue with the airbag misfiring or not firing at all during an accident, leading to death. I think this needs to be investigated immediately - this is a common issue and Te
... sla is not repairing for free. They're quoting people with a "filter" fix which is a band-aid fix only for about 300$ (Tesla says there is 50% change this will fix it) or they want us to replace the whole seat with the sensors that cost close to 1500$. Even with the new seat, the issue has come back few times for many people.Read more

Last year while driving my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the headrest collision system went off for no reason, hitting me in the back of the head. Luckily I did not lose control of the vehicle and there was no collision or injury to myself. It was very scary, but I maintained control of the vehicle. I went to my local Jeep dealer Pembroke Pines Jeep Auto Nation at 13601Pines Blvd Suite A Pembroke Pine
... s, FL 33027. They told me it was a known issue and the service person made an appointment for me later that week , at which they replaced the headrest at no cost to me under a recall service bulletin issued by Jeep/Stellantis. The same thing happened last week while driving, when the passenger side headrest activated for NO reason, this time striking my wife in the head. I went back to the same dealership. They told me that this headrest is no longer covered under the warranty which has now expired in April of 2025. and would cost $800 to repair. They told me to call Stellantis and see if they would cover the repair. I went home and called Stellantis, whose customer service agent advised me that he was going to escalate my concern to his supervisor. I got a call today and they told me that my car is not covered by any warranty and that I would be responsible for the repair. My car VIN number does not fall under the recall which has expired. He also told me that Stellantis is not responsible for the repair and he should ask the dealer to see if they would possibly split the cost of the repair with me. This could of been a very serious situation, had I lost control of the vehicle as a driver. I looked further online and in Jeep owners club forums and this seems to be a common problem with Jeeps and Dodge Durangos, both owned by Stellantis. This is a clear and dangerous safety issue!Read more

I purchased a 2016 VW Beetle, used, in March of 2025. Over the past few weeks, I have received multiple urgent messages from Volkswagon that I need to have the airbag fixed. The communications say there is a high risk of death or serious injury and urge me to my have the repair done ASAP. They have sent multiple mailings to me and made several phone calls to my home. I am doing everything
... in my power to get this fixed. I have called all the local dealerships within a 50 mile radius, but they do not have the appropriate parts in stock, and have no idea when parts will be available. I am told that the car is safe to drive (which is the exact opposite of what the mailings say) and they tell me to simply "call back in a month". I have also tried calling customer service at Volkswagon HQ, as well as the 800 numbers on my mailings. No luck. This is not acceptable. With such a dangerous issue, how can this be allowed? These cars need to be fixed.....many Volkswagon owners are TRYING to get them fixed....but Volkswagon is just shrugging their shoulders and saying there is nothing they can do. I'm attaching a copy of the message I received in the mail just this week. You can see how urgent they have indicated this is. They mailed it out KNOWING they do not have the parts available to do my repairs. They scare us that we'll be killed if we don't get the repair done immediately, yet when I call to schedule my repair, all I get is "sorry, we can't help you."Read more

During a severe accident in which the cars collided from both the back and front at most likely over 50mph, the air bags did not deploy. In such a case, I feel as though they should have gone off as there was severe whiplash and the cars hit at such a fast and hard speed. My safety was impacted severely as if the cars around did not hit the way they did, I believe I could have died. It is extremel

In addition, the vehicle is being checked in the next day for additional damages and they will confirm the air bag issues. Police as well as insurance providers were shocked that the air bags did not deploy in such a severe case. No warning messages or lamps were on when the accident occurred or before. This is extremely concerning and I now fear for my safety even further if I were to purchase this vehicle again. It is a terrifying thought that I could have died due to a car malfunction.Read more
