I own a 2013 Chrysler 200. While parked at a gas station the front driver’s headrest deployed without warning. I contacted a dealer where I was informed that the headrest needed to be replaced out of pocket. I was informed that the vehicle no longer qualified to be serviced under the recall. Mileage was around 135,000 when this occurred.

I am reporting a failure by Chrysler (FCA US LLC) to provide a remedy for Recall 25V302 (55C) within a reasonable timeframe. While turning right at approximately 5–10 mph, the vehicle was struck on the front passenger side. The impact caused moderate intrusion of the passenger door, severe damage to the front-right corner of the vehicle, and damage to the dashboard. Despite the structural damage and intrusion into the occupant compartment, none of the airbags deployed, including driver frontal, passenger frontal, sid
... e torso, or curtain airbags. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, which activated normally. The driver sustained a right-side rib fracture caused by seatbelt force, required ambulance transport to the emergency room, and continues to experience ongoing symptoms. A child passenger seated in the front passenger seat struck her head against the window, resulting in a brain concussion with symptoms including headache and dizziness, requiring emergency medical evaluation. No airbag warning lights were present before or after the crash. The vehicle is preserved in post-crash condition and is available for inspection. This appears to be an airbag system failure / crashworthiness defect that resulted in enhanced injuries due to airbag non-deployment.Read more

I have had a couple of issues that I have had others tell me or read online that they have had the same issues 1- When I bought the car, which was used at the time. Just a couple of years ago I drove it off of the lot and it had a break issue. I had to take it towed back to the dealership bc something broke underneath and the breaks were failing. So they fixed the problem supposedly. I only had
... a 30 day warranty and after the 30 days the breaks started grinding every time I stopped. This went on for a long time. I had an other mechanic look at it and did something and I can not recall exactly what he said but after about a week, the noise started back up and at that time I had had the car for about a yr and he said I still had about 25 percent left on my break pads. So probably about 4 months ago I changed my front breaks, including the rotors and the back breaks to, I also had to replace the front left caliber bc while trying to take the pin out of the caliber to clean it, the pin broke. So I replaced it. Took my care in to get inspected And they told me I need to do the back breaks and the back right caliber to pass inspection. So I did the work and got it done. I am not a rich person so I can only take it a mechanic if it something that I can not do myself my I have had good training bc had been a mechanic and had taught at mechanic schools so I know I have help and if I am not sure about something he will help. So now after doing all of that hard work, I am starting to hear the grinding noise again with the breaks and my breaks are good. It always starts our really light and then gets louder within a couple of weeks. 2- the second issue is that my airbag light is on, I am not sure why this is , I have never been in any kind of accident. One day just popped on and never went off 3- I have read online that you have had a recalls on newer models for Hyundai Elantra with the issue but not my year. Well my trunk latch ended up get latched and would not openRead more

LaFontaine Import Novi, Inc. DBA LaFontaine Novi, a franchised Infiniti entity with actual knowledge of these recalls (16V-244; 15V-033; 13V-445), failed to disclose or remediate these "Risk of Crash" and "Risk of Injury" defects before selling me a 2014 Infiniti QX60 on Nov 5, 2025. The dealer provided a "Pre-delivery inspection" record on November 4, 2025 to CARFAX, but delivered the vehicle wit

Only 588 miles after delivery, on Dec 26, 2025, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic cooling system failure (the radiator and transmission cooler) which demonstrated that the vehicle was not safe or roadworthy. The Service Manager admitted on January 6, 2026, that the radiator was defective and needed full replacement, which confirms the vehicle was sold with a pre-existing systemic failureRead more

My vehicle was serviced at an authorized VW dealer on Dec 12 for recall-related work & a diagnostic water test (fee waived; $0 paid). Before leaving the dealership, while still on property, I observed extensive interior damage not present prior to service: widespread staining/saturation of headliner, sunroof shade, interior pillars (A–D), plus damage to interior trim. Substance was not colorless
... or odorless; damage was systemic, not localized. I documented immediately w/ photos taken on dealership property. I requested help/loaner; denied; required to take vehicle. After leaving, additional wet areas appeared & later dried w/ visible staining, indicating prolonged saturation following service. Dealer service documentation states rear sunroof drains were leaking; however damage was present throughout interior, including areas inconsistent w/ a rear-only drain issue. Based on the location (headliner + pillars), this raises concern for potential impact to electrical components/wiring & airbag-related areas, plus latent issues due to moisture/chemical exposure. I requested confirmation of procedures/substances used during testing; info not provided. I requested a garage liability claim; declined. Dealer offered cleaning & later proposed replacing only the headliner. This issue occurred during recall-related service, raising concern about whether OEM-approved procedures were followed during diagnostic testing. The dealer declined to confirm what liquids or methods were used. Because the damage pattern contradicts the stated diagnosis, any repair based on that diagnosis would be incomplete, potentially allowing continued intrusion or latent electrical or airbag-related issues to develop over time. The vehicle was returned to me in this condition without corrective action, leaving the potential safety and electrical risks unresolved following recall-related service. No independent post-service inspection was offered to verify system integrity.Read more

I am submitting this supplemental statement regarding my previously filed complaint involving a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. On November 8, 2025, I was involved in a crash that resulted in bodily injury, including head, neck, and back pain, and required post-accident inspection and towing. Despite the nature of the impact and the injuries sustained, the frontal airbag system did not deploy. The manufactu
... rer, Stellantis, conducted an inspection through a third-party contractor and advised via email that the airbag system did not deploy because the deceleration threshold was allegedly not met. However, I have not been provided with the Event Data Recorder (EDR) data, crash pulse analysis, sensor performance evaluation, or the technical criteria relied upon to reach this conclusion. Given the vehicle damage, injuries sustained, and non-deployment of the frontal airbags, I am concerned that the airbag system may not have functioned as intended or that the deployment thresholds, sensor inputs, or system calibration may be defective or unreasonable. I respectfully request that NHTSA review this incident for potential safety defects related to airbag non-deployment, crash detection thresholds, sensor performance, or system logic in the 2022 Jeep Wrangler.Read more

Severe recurring roof water intrusion on 2022 GMC HUMMER EV; repeated failed repairs; interior rust/corrosion; safety concerns in high‑voltage EV. Vehicle: 2022 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1
VIN: [XXX] Current mileage: ~12,000 miles
My vehicle has a recurring defect involving severe water intrusion into the cabin through/around the removable roof panels/roof sealing areas during rain. Desp
... ite repeated dealership repair attempts, the vehicle continues to leak. The ongoing water intrusion has caused visible corrosion (rust) on interior metal structures, including the floor area and seat rails/seat mounting areas. The corrosion indicates prolonged moisture exposure inside the cabin. The dealership has attempted to repair this water intrusion issue approximately six (6) separate times, and the defect remains unresolved. First documented repair attempt: 03/14/2023 (issue presented to dealership for correction) Most recent repair attempt/out-of-service: 12/29/2025 to 01/06/2026
The vehicle has spent weeks at the dealership across these attempts, including time waiting for parts and work completion. Even after these repairs, the vehicle is still leaking and the corrosion is still present.
Because this is a high‑voltage electric vehicle, I am concerned that water ingress and corrosion are compromising electrical wiring/connectors and safety systems located in/near the cabin floor and seat areas (including areas where sensors and connectors may be present). I am concerned this could increase the risk of electrical short, malfunction of safety systems (including airbag sensors), and in a worst case scenario a fire risk if moisture reaches sensitive electrical components. I can provide photos/videos of active water intrusion and corrosion and all repair orders upon request. I purchased in July 2020, from sept 2020 I've had it at the dealership with shuddering, stalling and loss of acceleration. I originally thought fuel pump or transmission but kia said no. then in 2022 I received a letter from kia corporate stating low pressure fuel pump failure. so i called the dealership and told them the letter states everything I had been in to see them about numerous times. mad
... e an appointment they said they found an error but had no fix. I complained heavily due to the fact I sat there for 4 hours, and they knew they had no fix as of yet. It was too dangerous like this. so the Manager said he'd just replace it with a whole new fuel pump but it could also fail. I sent the car in for 4 days just to find out they did not replace it. they only changed the fuel filter. stating kia wont let them put in a new pump due to their system not showing any other issue. The problem persisted and multiple visits to kia to no avail. Then on top of that my air bag light came on Jan 4, 2024. They said it was my responsibility it's not covered 1138.67 it would cost me. Then in Feb kia corporate sent me a letter about airbags. I did not go back because the light eventually went off by itself without a fix, then April 17, 2024 the original problem got even worse, shuddering, lack of acceleration , stalling feeling. Dec. 10, 2025 back to Kia. they have a code for dual clutch and flywheel so they ordered it & had my car for 19 days. I called numerous times to see about progress. I was told they are trying to chase down a code with a tech line. 7 days after that I picked it up & they said they did not change out any parts because there was no code. They only did a cap discharge. I have my car back now after 19 days & it's still not fixed. I called Jan5, 2026 and they said if kia is to fix it they need a code to be present or it'll cost me several thousand, even if its a known issue. so far it's been in the shop 9 times and 24 days total.Read more

Vehicle Information: Make: Jeep Model: Wrangler Model Year: 2007 VIN: [XXX] Safety Recall Information: NHTSA Campaign ID: 16V-290 Manufacturer Recall Number: S33 Component: Airbag / Clock Spring This recall was previously performed by a dealership in February 2021; however, the vehicle is now experiencing the same symptoms the recall was intended to address, indicating the safety defect has reo
... ccurred or was not permanently remedied. The vehicle is currently experiencing: Illuminated airbag (SRS) warning light Horn failure Traction control / electronic stability program warning light Erratic or abnormal A/C behavior that coincides with the SRS/steering wheel electrical faults These failures are consistent with a defective clock spring and directly impact the Supplemental Restraint System and other active safety systems. I contacted an authorized Jeep dealership to request inspection and repair of this recurring safety defect. The dealership confirmed the recall had been previously completed but refused to diagnose or repair the vehicle, stating in writing: “Due to company policy, we are unable to perform diagnostic or repair services on vehicles that are more than 10 years old.” They further stated that because the recall was marked as completed in 2021, they would not assist further and recommended I seek an independent repair facility. I believe this refusal violates the intent and requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (49 U.S.C. §§ 30118–30120), which requires manufacturers to remedy safety defects and does not allow age-based or policy-based refusal when a safety defect exists or reoccurs. This defect involves the airbag system and active safety features and presents an ongoing risk to vehicle occupants.
