My vehicle recently started showing warning/service lights for no reason; airbag, power steering, park lights, coolant, check engine etc. My engine would also keeps running even after removing the keys.. I have looked online in jeep forums and this problems appears to be related to ignition switch. The problems the car is having is very identical to those renegade owners posted on line. Other renegade owners got the ignition switch replaced and fixed the problem. As of now, there is no recall for this particular issue but should be investigated. I will be taking my car for recalls and also to include this problem to get fixed. This is a safety matter as it could cause fatality.Read more

On September 13, 2020, my father was driving his 2015 Ford F150, with me in the passenger seat. We were hit in a high speed head-on collision on I-55/I-240 in Memphis, TN by an oncoming driver, which killed both my father (the driver), and the oncoming vehicle driver, and I was taken to the hospital with injuries in critical condition. My father was extracted from the vehicle and taken to the mo
... rgue, but when I was able to return to the truck at the impound lot, I found no drivers side airbag in the truck. While EMTs informed me that the airbag was cut, it was odd that the airbag was not still in the truck. His cause of death was blunt force trauma, and if the airbag did deploy, it would have had to have been a part of the immediate fatality. If it did not deploy, it would also have been a factor. On the passenger side, where I had been, all airbags were still attached, but cut in order to extract me. In the days immediately following the accident, my lip was swollen from hitting the airbag, but there was also a piece of shrapnel lodged in my lip, confirmed by XRay, which later came out. I am concerned about both my father's fatality, and how the airbag deployed and what role it played in the fatality, as well as the injury of shrapnel getting embedded in my lip. I believe that the airbag could be a contributing factor in both issues.Read more

I’ve owned this 2012 g37 for a few years and had no issues whatsoever. However within the last couple of months, my air bag light came on and has been flashing since. I’ve taken it to get inspected and had the system checked and was told my passenger seat occupant sensor malfunctioned and is throwing the code on. The sensor itself, very easily replaced, is unable to be bought by itself. Repair
... s by the dealership is well over 5,000 for the seat and labor. The sensor is being sold as a component part of the bottom build of the seat, and cannot be sold otherwise. The issue with the sensor not being active, prevents the activation of the passenger airbag regardless of the seat being occupied or not. My concerns are that I won’t be able to safely commute with passengers on the road and also being able to pass state inspection, as needed per law per state. Without this sensor, driving is an everyday peril, a safety concern a driver has no control over with other vehicles on the road. There has not been any prior incidents that have occurred that could cause this electronic issue.Read more

Hello NHTSA: I purchased a 2018 Nissan Leaf from Carvana on December 29, 2022. Within a short period of time the car experienced seat belt and air bag warning lights. The car was repaired under factory warranty by HGreg Nissan in Cutler Bay Florida but continued to display warning lights. The satellite communications system was not able to be repaired. This failure deactivated certain convenience
... and safety features. On March 16, 2023 a warning message and display indicated there was a high voltage battery malfunction and the car needed to be repaired by the dealer, On March 20, 2023 the car was taken to the dealer. The dealer informed me that the car was unsafe to drive and would not, nor did they ever, return the car to me [with the exception of a one-week test drive that did not correct the reported issues]. On August 3, 2023 Nissan North America declared in writing that the car was a Lemon under Florida law. Nissan refunded the purchase price of the car. Both Carvana and Nissan North America have refused to fully compensate me for certain incidental expenses including auto insurance [required to kept active until title transfer] and unused monthly prepaid Carvana maintenance costs. These fees were assessed from March 20, 2023 until August of 2023. During a discussion with Nissan North America their agent disclosed that they intended to wholesale this car. My immediate concern is that a Lemon-declared car should be disclosed if it is even allowed to be resold.Read more

I was in a very light two-car collision on 08-09-2023. Both cars had little to no damages, just very minute scratches that are very hard to see. But two of the airbags on my KIA Niro (front and knee) deployed suddenly, causing me to black out for a couple of minutes and later have a concussion, and the bottom airbag caused a bruise and consistent knee pain to this day. My car is at a Kia Service f

I visited this facility to get some answers and I stated that I think this car has a problem with the airbags, a Kia employee responded with “do not tell that to your insurance”. I have called and called to get answers and they say they don’t know are are trying to figure out why the airbags deployed. Everyone I have spoken to (police officer and paramedics at time of collision, claim adjustor, third-party mechanic etc) all think it’s very strange that the airbags deployed. I have read that KIA currently has airbag recalls on some models and I’m suspecting that my car could also be affected by this. The car is at a Kia facility where it CAN be inspected.Read more

I bought this car from Hillside Honda in Queens, NY in June 8th 2016. It was a floor model that I was told by the salesman I got a great deal on it and I found out later it wasn't true. Let me get to the point, I found out this car is a lemon car. From the frontal airbag to the engine, it's a complete nightmare. My focus is more on the engine itself. The vehicle vibrates too much, I keep this car
... well maintained. At 62,000 miles, I already changed the fuel pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs, ignition coil, the vehicle is still vibrating and dies while driving. I feel this is completely shocking. Never in my life in the last past decade, I never had any vehicle from 1993 to 2022 which I have this issue with. I reached out to many experienced mechanics, they all told me, this car wasn't built well. What else you need to change to make this car drivable. You can't use the AC on a hot summer, I regret every single day in my life buying a Honda. It was my dream car but I got a lemon. I need help because I'm stuck with this piece of work. I'm not willing to spend a dime more because I am the only owner who drives this vehicle since the day I bought it, I barely drive it because I want it to last long enough so I can enjoy my investment but as I said previously, at 62,000 the vehicle is completely useless. I found out from an OBD port sensor reporting that this vehicle was built with the wrong engine components, therefore it should be replaced. I want someone to conduct an investigation and take necessary action against Honda Motor Co. for what they've done to many consumers out there. I feel embarrassed to talk about this. I even overpaid for this junk and now I'm stuck with it. And I'm not the only one going through this.Read more
