Since I purchased my 2013 KIA SORENTO I have had at least 3 recalls. My vehicle AIR BAG LIGHT is still ON. I have been waiting since last year (2023)to get this recall item repaired and the local dealership has informed me that the part is on ORDER but never received( I have the work order from dealership stating that).. My Anti- thief system won't allow my vehicle to start upon demand I have to
... wait and turn the key over and let panel lights come on before it starts I have to do this 3x always. I've tried different approach's to rectify this issue, still dealing with it today( March 1, 2024). My speed control sensors had too be replaced. ABS lights would come on and stay illuminated. A lot is going on with my KIA SORENTO. I really enjoy my vehicle until all these recalls started. Now, I'm afraid to drive it as much, due too this FIRE RECALL!!!!!! I have documentation of these recalls.Read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the ongoing issues plaguing my car. This dissatisfaction is compounded by the fact that this car was brand new when I picked it up from the dealership, with no miles on it. Since then, I have encountered a series of concerning problems. At around 30,000 miles, the batteries required replacement, followed shortly by a transmission replacement at
... 40,000 miles. Additionally, the TV screens throughout the car began shutting off autonomously, a persistent issue that remains unresolved. Subsequently, at 60,000 miles, both the engine and batteries needed replacement once again. Despite repeated efforts to address these issues under warranty, the car continues to experience persistent troubles. It often stalls every two days, and despite addressing these issues under warranty, the TV malfunctions persist. Furthermore, the situation has escalated with the engine now overheating and malfunctions occurring in critical safety features such as airbags, lights, and ACC. These concerns have created a myriad of safety issues within the vehicle, particularly during driving, with multiple safety concerns arising regarding the navigation and various electronic components. It is evident that these safety hazards are all mechanically related and have persisted since the car reached 30,000 miles. Additionally, amidst these significant safety concerns, one of the main safety components of the vehicle is compromised. Intermediately and on a consistent basis, the car doors open on their own, posing a serious risk. There have been instances where my son has inadvertently pressed the door to open from the outside, and the doors open without any form of key input. The key is not present, yet the door opens on its own, triggering the alarm. This ongoing issue has left me emotionally and monetarily drained over the past few years.Read more

Service Airbag message came on along with airbag warning light. Problem is with connectors under the front driver seat that come apart when the seat moves forward and back. This was a recall on previous models, but not this one. It’s the same exact issue. Also, no remedy for steering wheel airbag that could shoot deadly metal shards into your face. This is deplorable.

I first reported the break, airbag, and acceleration failure on my brand new 2005 Scion XB on June 20, 2005. I only had the Daihatsu/ Toyota two week when a driver in front of me stopped short at a Yield sign forcing me to slam on my brakes. immediately heard the sound of metal snapping and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I pumped the pedal to the floor but there was no resistance.
... The vehicle immediately accelerated, and I struck the rear of Ford Explorer at about 30-35 miles per hour. I suffered catastrophic injuries. I filed complaints at every level of government possible, but no one would investigate my claims. My FDFS complaint dated [XXX] might be the first to accurately report and describe causation regarding of these known defects sold by Toyota/Daihatsu with willful intent to defraud the public by fraudulent concealment of these known Defective Products. Toyota/ Daihatsu's Top Brass had full knowledge of the danger they were selling to the American Public under the Toyota Brand built on Safety. In a criminal conspiracy designed to defraud the U,S. Government by importing and selling 200,000 Scion models 2003, 2004, 2005 without safety crash testing thru Project Genesis. Toyota/Daihatsu didn't just cheat on safety testing on these models they failed to perform any safety crash testing until the model change in 2006 then just included all models 2003, 2004, 2005 into the 2006 rating applying those standards to all models. Part# 80A880242G which has been on order since Dec. 14th. So far, Audi has repeatedly claimed that the part ETA is unknown. On [XXX], I was driving on the left lane of freeway [XXX] All of a sudden curtain airbags (both sides) deployed for no reason. I stepped outside to look at my vehicle and not a scratch or dent was on
... my vehicle. I was not in an accident or anything. Was alarming/unsafe because I was on the freeway during [XXX] which is busy at that time so I could have been in a massive wreck and if I had my 4month old in the vehicle she would have been crushed/dead. On [XXX] my vehicle was inspected by silverrock and they denied the claim being "outside influence". At that time my vehicle was at Clover's Collison (still is) and the owner ran diagnostics. From 2/16-2/21 I have been reaching out to Carvana/Silverrock and trying to have them take care of this for me but they did nothing. I called my Progressive Insurance on 2/21 and they sent an inspector out as well and on 2/23 they did not find anything that could have caused the airbags to deploy. Clock spring has failed 5 times within a year. The first clock spring replacement failed two weeks after the repair. I the. took it to a different dealership to be repaired. The second clock spring broke about 6 months later. The third clock spring broke two weeks after the repair. The fourth clock spring broke two months later and I am about to have it repaired within the next week. Due to the fa
... ulty clock spring, the driver side air bag will not deploy in the event of an accident and I have no use of the horn - both of which are necessary when living in South Florida. There are only two dealerships within reasonable driving distance to have the repair done (while the part is under warranty). It takes at least a week, if not more, to get an appointment at the dealership to ensure they have the part at the time of the repair. During which time, I have no choice but to drive the vehicle without the use of the air bag. Even though I can tell when the clock spring is likely about to break, I cannot take it to the dealership for repair until it has actually broken. This is not only extremely inconvenient, but hazardous as I’d be without safety mechanisms in the event of an accident. This should not be a reoccurring issue with the vehicle. The dealership has gone as far as contacting VW support to ensure the correct part is replaced and repaired properly, yet it continues to happen. It is unrelated to my driving or the way the part has been repaired. It is simply faulty parts being supplied.Read more
