Airbag lift would come on intermittently. Upon dealership inspection it was learned that it could be a possible issue with the passenger side airbag and instructed to not drive vehicle. Airbag was ordered and took over six weeks to receive and repair. Dealership said airbags are not covered by any recall or warranty. Is, should, this be correct?

My car clock spring has went out, and it affects my car airbag deploy. I see it’s a problem with the Mercedes Cla250. It’s very dangerous it causes your horn not to work as well!

The airbag warning light activated and two separate service facilities confirmed the problem was with the seatbelt tensioner cable. This could put the driver at risk of serious injury in a collision as the seatbelt may not properly restrain the driver. I received a safety recall leather from Volkswagen on December 2024. NHTSA: 24V834 Subject: Safety recall 69E6 - Driver frontal airbag inflator Since November 2024 my airbag light on my dashboard came on, I checked for recalls and there was none at that time. It said airbag error on the dashboard. A month later I received the above mentioned recalled letter and took immediate action. ( Please ke

Keep in mind the light was on before but it was solid on at all times but now it has a beeping sound that goes on and off while driving it multiple times a day and makes me think the repair was made with another faulty airbag inflator or there is another manufacturer problem with the air bag system of the car. About a year ago the passenger airbag warning light came on. Took it to the dealer who stated the passenger seat occupant detection sensor was malfunctioning. I was also told this meant the passenger airbags would not deploy in an accident. The dealer stated the replacement part was on back order and they could not get it. It has been 11 months and they have not gotten the part. Additionally this
... part has been recalled on the 2015-2018 models with heated seats due to the heated seats causing the malfunction. I have the 2014 model with the exact same heated seats and sensor and it was not included in the recall. For 11 months I have not been able to use the passenger seat for fear anyone in the passenger seat could be seriously hurt or killed due to the airbags not deploying. I have contacted the dealer and Subaru of America multiple time and was basically told it’s my problem and to keep waiting for the replacement part, which I will then have to pay approximately $1100 for the repair.Read more

This vehicle was involved in a tragic car accident. The passengers both suffered deep laceration to the skull and other vital parts of the body. There was a recall notice that was sent to the owner 4 months after the fatal accident had occurred. Based on police inspection of the vehicle, they’ve determined there was mechanical failure to the vehicle which can be seen through a police bodycam at
... the police impound lot. The front passenger suffered a 6 inch deep cut to the skull according to the medical examiner’s report. The child in the rear also suffered a deep laceration to the ankle and foot despite being restrained in a child seat. Driver suffered a graze cut to the side of his head and survived the tragic accident after recovering from a coma he stated that the brakes did not function properly when depressed moments prior to the accident. Data recorder from the vehicle shows the driver was depressing the brake pedal the entirety of the time up to the moment of impact. This vehicle was t-boned by an suv, and this accident should have been survivable, however the passenger seat looks to be torn out of its brackets according to the pictures from the accident scene. I am requesting this vehicle be investigated as there are many vehicles similar to this one that could have dangerous defects which were outlined in the safety recall notice that was mailed to the owner. The safety recall did mention to stop driving this vehicle immediately, however this notice did not arrive in a timely manner to where anyone could have taken action immediately. I am requesting that this vehicle be inspected for not only the safety of the community it’s but for identifying why two people lost their lives due to a manufacture failure that could have been prevented if notification was sent in a timely manner. Thank you and I look forward to following up with someone regarding this immediate and dangerous concern. I have the original letters and when they were mailed to the owner.Read more
